Jax’s POV That growling sound bothered me. It didn't sound like a normal wolf. It had to be something bigger. Something ready to wreak havoc. Raven sniffed the air and shook her head. "I can't figure out the scent, but it sounds like a beast..." I nodded, my throat suddenly going dry. "What do you think we should do?" Raven asked, looking around. "Well, we can't run.
