Raven’s POV The net tightened like a noose. Pain shot through my arms and legs as enchanted fibers dug into my skin. I saw them. I should have done better. I thrashed hard under the net. Cold seeped into my skin as the bike dragged me faster. "Moon goddess, why is this happening to me?" I cried. My magic wasn't working. The black threads from at my fingertips constantly vanished as soon as they touched the net. The net drank my power like wine. Or maybe it was me.
