Welcome Back Mr President

1085 Words
The mansion compound is a breathtaking sight, boasting towering stone walls and intricate gates. Lush gardens adorned with fountains and statues surround several grand buildings with domed roofs and dazzling mosaics. The compound resembles a city within a city, complete with its own markets, temples, and other structures. The residents are adorned in vibrant, opulent clothes, and the air is redolent with the aroma of exotic spices and perfumes. The entire compound exudes an air of exclusivity, feeling like a world apart from the outside world, reserved for only the most privileged individuals. Aiden and Arthur were greeted by the maids with a bow and were met with the sight of the Rolls-Royce Sweptail, the most expensive car in the world, estimated to cost around $13 million, parked in front of the mansion. The Sweptail is hand-built with a unique body shape unlike any other car, and it was just one of the numerous cars present in the house compound. The chauffeur, neatly dressed in a black suit, promptly opened the car door with a slight bow to Aiden, who entered and sat inside, with Arthur joining him. The interior of the car was equipped with luxurious materials and features, including a champagne cooler and picnic table. It truly is a work of art and one of the most exclusive cars in the world. The chauffeur took his place behind the wheel, closed the car door, and began to drive out of the house and into the city. The car soon arrived at the entrance of Anderson Cosmetics, a prestigious company with a grand entrance. The gate automatically opened after a security check. Driving inside the compound, there was a sprawling company with multiple sleek and modern buildings made of glass and metal. The grounds were well-maintained with manicured lawns and flower beds. The large parking lot was already filled with luxurious cars belonging to employees and visitors. The overall effect was one of professionalism and success, symbolizing the company's power and influence. The car came to a stop in front of the company's entrance. The chauffeur got out and opened the car door for Aiden with a slight bow. As Aiden stepped out, he was greeted by numerous people with their heads bowed, all neatly dressed in office suits. "Welcome back, Mr. President," chorused the people with their heads still bowed. "Let's have a great day!" replied Aiden. Immediately, the employees raised their heads and made way for him to walk into the company. With Arthur by his side, Aiden took a step into the company. As soon as he entered the building, he was greeted by the strong scent of perfume and cosmetics. The lobby was spacious and bright, with glass walls allowing natural light to flood the area. Plush couches and chairs filled the space, and the floors were covered in a deep, luxurious red carpet. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors lined the walls, reflecting Aiden's own face back at him. Even the elevators were adorned with mirrors, ensuring that everyone was always looking at themselves. The company's logo was prominently displayed on every available surface, leaving no doubt as to who they were dealing with. "It's great to be back," Aiden murmured with a bright smile. "I didn't hear any whispers, I thought I would be welcomed with whispers instead of greetings," he added, noticing the employees with their faces fixed on their systems as he walked in. "They wouldn't dare offend you. They know what you're capable of," Arthur replied with a burst of laughter, which faded as Aiden shot him a stern look. "You have a meeting with the board of directors. They're all waiting in the meeting room," said Arthur, now with a serious expression as he showed Aiden the documents. "Let's go, we wouldn't want to keep the old men waiting," replied Aiden as he began to walk towards the elevator with Arthur walking closely behind him. The two of them soon arrived at the second floor of the building where the meeting was taking place and stood in front of a big door with "meeting room" boldly written and hung just above the door. Two guards, more like bouncers, neatly dressed in black suits, were guarding the door. Aiden had been waiting in front of the door for ten minutes and could still hear the noises coming from inside the room. "What the hell are they discussing in there? Is this how they handle business when I'm not around?" Aiden asked with a smirk. He then gave a signal, which the two security men understood, and they immediately opened the door. As the big wooden door swung open, Aiden was greeted with an atmosphere of complete silence. His gaze fell upon the old men, dressed in suits, sitting quietly in their chairs. He then walked inside, exuding an air of luxury and wealth with every step, and took his seat at the table, where the title "Mr. President" was prominently displayed. "Welcome back, Mr. President," chorused the old men as they all stood to their feet with a slight bow. "Please have a seat," replied Aiden, and his words were obeyed as the men sat back down. There were a total of twenty old-looking men, excluding Aiden and Arthur. The meeting lasted for over an hour and was soon done, but it didn't seem to end well as anger could be seen plastered on Aiden's face. "Please provide the company's statement of account in my office before the end of the day, Mr. Charles," said Aiden, his voice filled with authority and anger before storming out of the meeting room, leaving Arthur behind to sort out some office files. "Yes Mr President," replied an old man, probably in his sixties to Aiden request. The previously quiet meeting room quickly became noisy again as soon as Aiden stepped out. "What's his problem? Just because he's the heir to this company, he thinks he can act however he wants? I've worked for his father for years and I deserve some respect," the old man yelled, his anger evident in his tone. "Why did he have to come back to work today? I nearly had a heart attack when he walked in," said another. "Welcome back, Mr. President," said Arthur, his announcement causing the meeting hall to fall silent as every employee quickly took their seats. "Oh, wait, I'm mistaken," he added with a smirk, satisfied with his actions before walking out of the meeting room, leaving the board of directors speechless.
