It was early in the morning, after Amelia finished serving her breakfast, she just worked up from the couch.She made her way heading to the door, " Amelia ," called from outside, it was her working laborer, Joseph. He engaged in cleaning and general maintenance of Amelia business artwork gallery store. "Yes." said by Amelia, as she responded to his call, she quickly extended her steps toward outside the room. As she reached out, she just saw Joseph hang around. " Ma'am, I have finished today's work." He said. "Okay well-done my workaholic Joseph." Amelia said. He just smirked and went out. After some moments later, Amelia makes her way out of the house. She opened her store so early today, as her mind was full of her deceased father reminiscing. She got into the shop carefully and headed toward the center of the store. It was a very wide decorated table kept and filled with arranged stunning fine art photos, pictures, images and posters. She continues and gradually moves around within the gallery, while she keeps staring,scouring and scanning for the old-drawn beautiful picture of her father. As she found it in the high top of the wall, hung diligently and surrounded it with many low size photos. Smiles appear on her face with deep sorrow in her heart of losing her lovely father. She went towards the direction to which the photo was sighted. She climbed over a small chair to ladder up. She finally picked up the photo. As she got down, she groaned heavenly while gazing at her father's photo. Overwhelmingly filled her body, she doesn't know when the tears flow from her eyes. She kept kissing the photo with deep sorrow of missing her dad. Amelia finally hugged the photo and sat loosely on the couch, as keep thinking about the happier memory she had with her dad. "A-Amelia are you alright, you look so different today? W-What is worrying you?" Her mother uttered while standing in front and very close to the door of the store. The store was bound to their house from outside. It's very easy for her mother to reach her any moment she wishes. Amelia sighed heavenly and said " I'm a very fine mum." Her mother looked at her in surprise. " Please Amelia, I know you never lied to your lovely mum." Mum said. Amelia started rubbing tears in her face and she kept looking down. Her mother got into the store and headed toward Amelia. She came closer to her and sat beside her on the couch. Mother cuddled Amelia. " I-I'm just thinking about my lovely dad." Amelia said while sobbing slowly. Mother looked at Amelia in pity, " Please Amelia stop crying, I feel all what you feel about your father." Amelia looked up loosely, " We really miss dad, mum." "Of course Amelia, we will continue to pray for him to seek mercy and blessing for him." Amelia gradually untied herself against her mother's grasp and stood up. Mother keeps looking at her. "Mum, Indeed dad was very great and generous.I remember when I was a very young child when he took me to school with his car, he used to buy me a bunch of chocolates and ice cream while we were on our journey before reaching school. " Indeed Amelia this is the best memory you had with your dad." Mum, I always express my thankfulness and appreciation to him due to his tireless effort towards making my future very bright. "I believe in God that if dad were alive, all these living hardships and sufferings we are facing will never become worse as the way we are existing today, " Amelia spoke out. " I really believe in you Amelia, all these hurtful and insolvent situations you had in your business enterprise will never face too much defeat as the way it's today." "We don't have any other choice, Amelia, but to keep praying to god for his guidance and solutions." With that they all cut off the conversation. Mother got up and went out, Amelia stayed at the store to operate her business service. It was 12 o'clock pm, Amelia's school mate, Sarah visited her. Sarah met her while she was busy working on a large drawing board. Sarah stood in front of the door of the store,surprisingly watching Amelia. "Wow amazing," Sarah said loudly. Amelia quickly turned around to see who was freaking at her, as she was unaware. " Oh my my God it's you sweet Sarah!! What surprise visit is this? " Sarah smirked and headed towards Amelia. " I know you never expect me at this very strange moment," Sarah said. " Of course Sarah, I-I never." Amelia got up very quickly and gave a welcome hug to sarah.They were all cheerful and glad to meet each other. After they release each other, Sarah turns around and starts gazing at the drawing board. " Indeed Amelia you're always doing much better, I always appreciate talent and courage. "Thank you Sarah," Amelia said happily. " B-But Amelia were the rest of your supportive workers. I was expecting to meet them at this moment." Y-You know what Sarah, I command to them not to attend everyday. As you don't know, we are now facing very less patronage or I can say we are having less turnover selling service. As you know there is no selling profit, since we don't have funds to pay for them efficiently, that's why I command them not to attend everyday. Sarah looks at Amelia in pity. " I feel sorry about you Amelia. So where all the problems arose." " You really know that Sarah since after the death of my dad, things and situations have become biased and uncomfortable to my family. "My dad's business enterprises failed to succeed after his demise. Me and my mum try our best to continue in running it, but unfortunately the situation drifts," Amelia narrates continuously. "Sarah as we never expect, all the shareholders that invest in our dad business enterprise, decide to back out and remove all their shares." Sarah expresses her sympathy to Amelia. " Amelia, I know you are struggling with lack of funding capital to scale up your business stuff." "Of course Sarah." Amelia's phone ringing cut off their conversation. She took the phone from the table to check for a call.
