Chapter 20
When Alex and Daniel came home, they found Kevin in the kitchen, preparing dinner, and Gabriel writing a new song.
“Hey!” Alex entered the house with a huge smile and Daniel beside him.
Gabriel lifted his head and Kevin peered from the kitchen.
“Hey, yourself,” they answered, and a second later their looks zeroed in on Alex’s and Daniel’s hands with their fingers intertwined.
“Oh, thank God!” Gabriel said, rising from the couch. He ran toward his friends and hugged them both. “It’s about damn time, Alex,” he added, taking a step back and looking at the two guys.
Kevin joined the group and smiled peacefully while he wiped his hands on a dishcloth.
“All’s well that ends well, right?” he asked with a wink.
Alex was embarrassed because it was the first time he was openly gay
