“I still can’t believe that your mom told us to be ‘good boys’ and she actually gave her blessing to our union. She’s a little bit…” Daniel said as soon as they were in Alex’s old bedroom.
“Weird? Yeah, I know. But she is awesome,” Alex replied, closing the door behind him, staring at his partner’s back. “After my dad died it was only us. But we did well. She is an unusual mother, but she loves me. And, speaking of, I just remembered something…” he whispered.
Daniel turned to him. “What?”
Alex closed the distance and tilted his head, whispering against Daniel’s lips. “That I haven’t kissed you since this morning.”
