MY LOST FRIEND

after two hours of a good rest I woke up, checked my phone and found out that I had ten missed calls, I was so surprised because I did not really expect anyone to have called me to such an extend. I checked the phone again so I can know who was calling me only to find out my friend who has forgotten me for like two years called and my new handsome gym friend called and his call was more than my forgotten friend.

I was lost in thought for some while, until my phone rang again. I checked it and found out my friend was the one calling, I quickly pick up and said “hello, long time no see” he quickly replied with “ how have you been my love, I was searching for a number in my phone when I saw yours so I decided to call you”.

I was so happy he called but was not too surprised because we were like paddies back then in school but due to some challenges we got separated until now that we are hearing each other voice on the phone.

we concluded the call after deciding to meet each other in the evening at the bar that is close to my house, after few minutes my phone rang, I just picked up the call and to my surprise it was my mom.“hello mum, how are you doing so sorry for not returning your call yesterday”. my mum quickly replied with anger “ what insolence behavior, well you are pardoned but please don't let this mistake repeat it's self again, it seems like you are doing well that's why you

choose not to check on your family”.

I quickly apologize to her again, we talked for a long while but before we hang up I told her I need some money for girls stuff but my mom just laughed and then cut the call. I felt like maybe she did not hear me well so I just let it slide.

I got up from the couch went into the room changed my clothes to some nice, simple wears. I entered the kitchen picked some snacks like cheese balls and coke then I picked up my phone and left the house. actually I did not really have anywhere important to be, except going to meet with my lost found friend

I took a bike to BMD bar, in less than thirty minutes I was there. I went to sit down close to the barman and then I ordered for a bottle of predator along with a glass. but while I was still drinking one bottle of predator my friend called me, asking where am sitting because he can't find me at the entrance non the inside of the bar. I told him where I was actually sitting.

I felt a soft hand touched my shoulders, I just laughed and said “long time oh Emmanuel, please come to the front let me see you”. immediately the hand that touched me came forward I was so surprised and then asked “what are you doing here Dani”.

“i should be the one asking you that question because I came here to help my friend with his bar work, he called me to come help him so I did, only to find you here” as we were still exchanging pleasantries my friend walked in, then me and Dani discussion had to come to an end even if we did not want to. Dani understood that I came to see an old friend so he just left stylishly without me knowing when.

I shifted my attention to my lost and found friend “ how far na, Manuel see as you fresh, soft anyhow”.

“ yes na but you too you don't look that bad, you are more pretty than I can imagine”. we talked for a very long time and then ate lots of yummies with different types of drinks. after all the fun it was time to go home but as I was about to stop a bike, Emmanuel stopped me and told me not to do that because he would just give me a ride home.

at first I saw it as a good thing but then a bad thought came into my mind like; what if he is trying to know my house or he wants to kiss me because back then in school when we were very close we kissed each other to the extent we almost had s*x together but I ran out of the bathroom and went to class.

I just relaxed my mind and then entered into his Lexus 350. not less then one hour I have arrived at my destination, we stared at each other then I just said thanks for today and then I quickly opened the car door and came down hurriedly because I was scared of building chemistry together again with him after my first experience. he was shocked at the way I left but he just let it slide like nothing happened and he drove off.

i entered my compound and the dog rushed from the back of the compound to come greet me but out of fear I chased the dog away because I was scared

after spending twenty minutes outside, I went into my house, changed my clothes, took my bath, wore my nightgown and went straight to bed. I did not bother to cook because I had ate a lot of things so no more room for food, as I was about to shut my eyes my phone beeped. when I checked the message, it was credit alert, immediately sleep left my eyes, when I checked who sent the money. it was my mum, out of joy I danced from the bed to the ground then I got up and entered my bed again.

i chose to lay low since it was already late but I said to my self that I would call my mom as early as possible. while I was still thinking about what to do the next morning I just doze off immediately.
