Chapter 30: Winter.

"It's definitely colder now..."

Dream said while walking outside. It's the first day of a new season. So, Everyone immediately can feel the different in the temperature.

"From the look of things, It's going to snow today. Which mean that Training was moved to the Gym instead of the usual field."

Dream sat down at a bench near the gate. He stare at the sky that has no sun. He put his hand on the bench and then sigh.

"Haaah... I wonder if there's something fun that I can do..."

Dream mumble. His face look really tired. In fact, He's just done with his job in the Student Council. Everyone beside him has taken a day off from the Student Council and that left him all alone doing everyone job.

Dream slump over on the bench lazily. He then sigh once again and look at the sky with dead eyes. There's no light in his eyes.

It's almost like his soul has left his body from working on paperwork too much. Dream almost dumped everything aside and just leave it there.

Fortunately, He remember that he was given this task and he swear to do it seriously. Moreover, His senior before him had a high hope on him.

"No choice but to sleep..."

Dream stand up from the bench and jumped on top of a tree branch. He lay down on the branch and close his eyes.

Few minutes later Dream wake up and feel immediately better. So Dream jumped down from the tree branch and went straight back to the Student Council room to sort something.

As soon as he arrived at the Room and he saw a bunch more paper stacking in his table.

Dream veins popped up. He gritted his teeth and stared at the stack of paper with hate inside his eyes. He walked toward the Paper and grab one of it.

"What is it now?!"

Dream was pissed out of his mind. The work is never end and he just want to delete all of this paper with his Black Crush.

But, As soon as he saw what's written in the paper. His face become complex.

"Wait... What is this???"

Dream sat down at his chair and stared at the paper. At first, Dream didn't understand what the paper say at all. But, He keep reading until he finally understand. And the way he understand what's written in the paper is really stupid.

"So you supposed to read it from the top to the bottom. Not to the side. Who the hell write like this?!"

Dream was confused by the form of writing in the paper. He immediately look at the writer's name and immediately understand why it was written in that form.

"It's from the king of Abrovia Kingdom. I wonder why a king from another country has send this to me."

Dream immediately read the letter that was send by the King.

"Hello Mr. Dream Enpierce. My name is Jonathan Abrovia. A king from Abrovia Kingdom. You may ask to yourself. Why a King from a kingdom that located very far away from Nova send letter to me? Now, the reason why I contacted you is. Please read the next paper."

Dream thought to himself.

'Is this stack of paper from him? All of it?! Holy crap! How many pages do I need to go through?!'

Dream immediately call Yoga out and make her read half of the papers.

Then. After an hour, They finally done reading all the papers.

"Great Job Yoga. Now go back inside."

"Okay!"

Yoga went back inside Dream and Dream gain all of the information that Yoga read.

"Hm... So that's what happened in there huh..."

Dream mumble. He then grab all those papers and went back to his room and store it in there.

"From the look of things, It seems like they sent it straight to me. Without any courier or anything. Which is pretty impressive for outsiders to went inside the school unnoticed. If Miss Elaine know about this, She would be really pissed."

Dream sit at his bed and sigh.

"Huft... A war huh... He want to hire me to stop their war against the Veovia Kingdom."

"Haah... What should I do... Do I accept the job and make both country peaceful again or I decline the job and let them fight it out. But, if I do that, I would worsened my relation with Abrovia Kingdom. If I accept the job, I gain a new relation with not only Abrovia Kingdom but also with Veovia Kingdom."

Dream was confused on what the want to do. So, He take off his clothes and take a warm bath to relieve stress.

"Hey Yoga... What do you think?"

'It's depends on you Master. If you don't want to accept it, You don't have to. If you want to accept it, Then you just went to Abrovia.'

"What do you think is the best choice?"

Dream finally went to ask Yoga. Dream answer depends on Yoga word. If Yoga said no, Then it would be no. If it's yes. Dream also yes.

'Hahaha... Master. You should choose it yourself. It's about time you need to learn to make your own choice.'

"Well then. I should just accept the job. I can gain trust with 2 kingdom with that."

'Yes! That's the correct choice Master. Hopefully with that you don't need to ask me about what I think.'

Dream giggle after hearing that. With Dream already made his choice. He immediately went out of the bath and dry himself.

"I need to talk about this with the other too. I need to leave my job as the President and let others carry it out."

But, in order to do that. He need to wait for tomorrow. Because, They're taking their day off today.

So, Dream immediately go to a travel agent to talk about the schedule to go to Abrovia.

Outside the Academy, Near the Royal Palace. Dream arrived at the Travel Agent. The people working there immediately recognize Dream due to his popularity and he immediately get taken to the Owner of the Traveling Agency.

"My name is Ronald Runden. The owner of the Runden Traveling Agency. How can I help you today Mr. Dream Enpierce?"

The gentleman greeted Dream with respect. It seems like all of them know Dream privilege in this Country. He wasn't bound to any law. So they need to treat him carefully so that he wouldn't snapped.

But Dream for this occasion, was weirded out. So he said.

"Before we talk to business. I want you to treat me normally. It's quite hard for me to talk with you like this."

"Ah... If that's what you want Mr. Dream. I shall act normally."

Ronald sat down at his chair. And they immediately get into business.

"So, I want to fly to Abrovia. In just 2 days. Is that possible?"

Dream asked. Ronald immediately look at Dream confused.

"I'm sorry. Why do you want to go to Abrovia?"

"Actually, I have a job there. So, I need to go there as quickly as possible."

"Ah... Is that so. Then, I shall prepare a private plane that will take you there. So in 2 days right?"

"Yes. In 2 days, The future of Abrovia and Veovia will be decided."

Ronald immediately nodded like he know this was about to happen.

"I figure that is the case. I got it. I will contact you again tomorrow regarding the plane."

"Thank you. How much do I need to pay?"

"Ah, You don't need to pay it with money. How about we made a deal?"

"What deal?"

Ronald smiled really big toward Dream.

"We will let you use our service forever for free. That's our offer to you. And We want you to be our Brand Ambassador. How is that?"

"Sure. I'll do it."

"Eh? Are you sure? I would thought that you would demand something else from us."

Ronald was confused by Dream action despite he's the one who offered Dream that first.

"I mean, Why would I want to demand something else? I'm already satisfied with the offer. I don't need money that much. So, It would be easier for us both right?"

"Hahaha. Yes. Then, Let's sign this contract."

Ronald immediately take a form. Dream wasn't amused by that.

"No. I don't want to bound to anything."

Dream said with serious eyes.

"Is that so? Then I will just trust you in this position then."

"Don't worry about anything. It would be easier if both of us just trust each other right?"

"Yes."

Ronald smile. He forgot that Dream wasn't bound to any law so... He immediately take back the form and store it.

"Great. Then see you later."

"Yes."

Dream waved his hand and walked out of the room and walked straight out of the building.

"Ah! It's snowing."

Dream stared at the snow that was falling from the sky. Everyone was wearing a thick coat and a warm clothing. While Dream just wearing his normal clothes.

"Meh. Let's just enjoy this first day of winter and take a walk around the city."

With that, Dream walked around Nova in search for something new to try.

Then, Night comes. Dream meet up with Lily and talk with her in her room. Dream explain the situation to Lily. It seems like Lily wasn't surprised by any of that.

"Finally you get an international job! It took them so long to notice about you!"

Lily said. Her tone is not what a usual sad tone. A happy tone.

"Oh? You're alright with me going to Abrovia?"

"Of course! It's a rare experience for you so, I'm okay with it! Moreover, From what you say. It doesn't have any bad effect to you. So, I'm okay with it!"

"That's a wonderful news. That just mean that I need to talk about this tomorrow to anyone else."

"Yeah. I think everyone will feel the same way too. I will support you going there to build new relation with another country!"

Dream was so confused by Lily action. He's happy because Lily let him go to Abrovia.

"Well then. Tomorrow, We're going to talk to everyone. Prepare yourself Dream!"

"Yes..."

Dream hang out with Lily to talk about stuff for quite a while. Then, He went back to his room and sleep. The next day in the Student Council, He say the same thing to everyone including Elaine.

"Oh? That's a wonderful news! Stopping war is easy for you so, Just think of this as a time to build a relation with another Country! It's a great think to do Dream. In my early years, I build some relation with some kingdom and it helped me a lot. So, It's a great choice for you to make."

Everyone nodded at that.

"Everyone... Well then. Ray, Lily. Please take care of the Student council when I'm gone!"

"Of course Dream."

Ray and Lily said.

"Well then. I will go to Ronald place. See you guys later!"

"See you!"

After saying that he will go to check on Ronald, He immediately jumped straight out of the window and use his Stealthy steps to go to Runden Traveling Agency.

The same as before, He was immediately went straight to Ronald office.

One of the worker knock on the door and called Ronald.

"Sir. Mr. Dream was here to see you."

"Ah! Mr. Dream! Go in!"

The worker open the door for Dream. Dream went inside and the Worker close the door.

"So, How's the Plane?"

"Yes! Your plane tomorrow will be at 5 o'clock in the morning so that you can arrived to Abrovia before noon. Please go to the Airport and I will greet you there and took you to the plane."

"Ah Thanks! That really useful."

"No problem Mr. Dream! Anything we would do for you so that you feel comfortable with us!"

"That's it for today I think. I will see you tomorrow."

"Yes!"

It's a short meeting. Dream immediately went back to the Academy and meet with Everyone in Cafeteria. After eating, They went back to Student Council Room to talked about the detail of Dream job.

So, Dream started talking about his job.

"So Dream. What are your plan to stop the war?"

Ray asked. Dream immediately answer that question.

"I just will talk with both kings until they arrived in an agreement. The Agreement must be beneficial to both the kings and myself."

Everyone was shocked by that.

"Yourself? What are you planning now Dream?!"

"Nothing. I just want everyone to be peaceful. If they didn't want to be at peace. Then I will step in with my Halberd."

"Really? So for Plan A you will talk it through with them. And if they still against each other and didn't stop the war. You will forcefully stop the war by killing everyone?"

"Yup!"

Everyone simultaneously said.

"Uwaaa. You're evil."

Dream grinned hearing that.

"Let's get past that awkward moment. When are you leaving Dream?"

Elaine asked.

"Ah. It's 5 AM tomorrow. So, Before I leave for a couple of days. Let's use this night day for doing something we like!"

"Yeah. Let's go!"

After that. They immediately went to the Gym to fight. Ray called Eis. He wanted to fight with Eis against Dream and Lily.

"Everyone ready?"

Dream and Lily faced against Ray and Eis. Elaine was right between them as a referee.

"Go!"

Without any Hesitation, Eis immediately froze the whole Gym.

"Ice Age."

She stab the ground with her Ice Sword. And the Ice spread through the whole Gym.

"Holy Crap Eis! That's too much you reckon?!"

Dream was shocked by the amount of power in the Ice Age. Everyone feet immediately become slippery.

Suddenly, Ray hands glow red. He activate his Aurora Mark to synergize with Eis. Now, The floor no longer affected both of them.

"Lily. You're thinking what I'm thinking?"

Dream look at Lily. Lily look at him and smiled. They said the thing that they usually say.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Dream smiled. They smiled at each other and summon their Chains and Wings. Dream also activate his Leviathan Mark.

"If you're gonna play like that. Come then!"

Dream swing his chains violently toward Ray and Eis. While Lily fly toward them with a high speed.

"Like I'll let you!"

Ray immediately summon shards of ice from nothingness and shoot it toward Lily.

"Ice Shield!"

Eis stab her sword and summon a giant Shield made out of Ice to protect them from Dream Chains.

"Wings of Caritas: Heavens Flurry."

Lily feather wings scatter and immediately shoot out toward Ray Ice shard. Every time the Feather hit the Ice, It bounce back just to shoot out once again toward Ray.

Lily use her Feathers as a step because she can't fly due to the wings are in attack mode.

Then, In that instant. She vanished from Ray vision.

Suddenly, A white scythe slice the Ice Shield in just one swing.

Shocked by that, Eis immediately swing her Ice Sword toward Lily.

"Ice Needle!"

From the Ground below, Needle made out of Ice shoot out to pierce Lily. But, Ray Chains smashed the Needles.

Then, Ray and Eis do a combine attack.

"Ice Sword!"

Ray create a giant Ice Sword from the sky and swing it down toward Lily. And Eis Create the Same size of Ice Sword from Below Lily.

"Like I'll let it hit Lily!"

"Dream Style: Water Wheel!"

Dream swing his arm and slice both Ice Swords with a saw made out of his Leviathan Mark.

Then he pulled his arm back.

"Dream Style: Wave Attack!"

Dream simultaneously activate his Chaos Essence and enhance the power of his Wave Attack even further.

The Wave was devastating because it destroy the ice that cover the ground and wall.

Eis can't counter Dream attack. And Ray can't either because he can't use his Aurora Mark that well yet.

"It's our Defeat..."

Hearing that. Dream immediately pull back the water and absorb it back while deactivate his Chaos Essence.

"The Winner is. Dream and Lily!"

Jasmine and Krim give their applause toward both team.

After that mess they create, They immediately went to Cafeteria to enjoy a meal together.

Then, All of them go back to their own room and sleep.

The next morning. After saying goodbye to everyone. Dream walked toward the Airport alone. On the Gate, He meet with Ronald Runden.

"Good Morning Mr. Dream."

"Good Morning. Where's the plane?"

"Your plane is that Mr."

Ronald pointed at a similar plane that Elaine use.

"Great. Is it ready to go?"

"Anytime Mr. Dream."

"Good. Well, thanks for managing the plane for me. I will see you again in a couple of weeks."

"Have a good trip~"

Dream walked toward the Airplane and the door was immediately opened. Dream went inside and instantly greeted by a voice from a speaker.

"Welcome Mr. Dream Enpierce. It's an honor having you in this plane. I will be your pilot for this trip to Abrovia Kingdom. I hope you enjoy your stay in this plane."

Dream smiled and sat down at the seat. He look around and see a lot of drinks and foods.

"Please feel free to eat or drink. We want you to enjoy your trip while you still can."

"Oh! I'll take that offer."

Dream immediately eat some food and drink some drink. All of it was good.

"Then, We're going to take off."

Dream feel the plane taking off. When the Plane starting to go off the ground into the air. Dream finally went to sleep.

And thus began his 4 Hours Trip to Abrovia.

"Ah... He's gone..."

Elaine said. Everyone was having a meeting in the Student Council room.

"Yeah. This will be a lonely week. I hope he go back before Winter Competition Started."

Lily said with worry in her face. She's not worry about Dream. She's more worried about the Competition.

"Don't worry about that. We can postpone it if we want to. So, Let's just wait until Dream back from his job. And while he was working hard on that. We should also work hard here."

Elaine said. Everyone smiled and nodded.

"Of course we should. He entrusted his place to us. We will do what we can to replace him."

Ray said. Then, Krim grinned and said.

"By the way. Brother, Now that Dream is gone. You're back being the strongest male student. How does that make you feel?"

"Guuh... Stop it! You're saying it like this was a rare event that happen in the school."

"Hahaha! How does it make you feel though? Knowing that you're going to be the second best as long as Dream around?"

Ray get pissed by how his little sister act. So he stand and walked toward Krim. He put his hand on her head and grip it.

"Krim. Stop it alright? You're going to make your big brother really mad."

"Ouch Ouch! It's hurt brother!"

Krim said with teary eyes. Then Lily comes in and saved Krim.

"Hey Ray. If you do that, It just prove her point that you're only the best when Dream is gone."

"Ah! You're right. I shouldn't get mad and act more cool."

Ray let go of Krim head. Krim immediately put her hand on her head to reduce the pain.

"Guu... Brother you're cruel."

"Hahaha... Sorry about it."

"But it's true though~" 

Krim doesn't stop teasing Ray. Ray veins popped up. But it immediately disappear.

"Well, What you're saying is true though."

Everyone was shocked that Ray accepted that.

"What? You guys are looking at me weird."

Then everyone simultaneously said.

"Because it is..."

Ray immediately shut his mouth up and not talk for a while. They immediately apologize toward Ray but all of them was ignored. It's really a childish act that all of them display.
