The Alpha's Promise

Part 14 : Let the Game Begin!

I woke up in a ringing sound of my phone. I rub my sleepy eyes away. Grabbing the phone and answer it without glancing for it's ID.

"Alpha Cailly of Midnight Howler pack" I greeted, trying to be sound normal and not sleepy.

"Cai!" Uncle Ben voice boomed on the other line. I clutch my phone hardly.

"Uncle Ben!" I said in my normal voice.

"I heard about Sam's disappearance, You want to help?" He sounds worried. I pull away the phone from my ear. Playing games? I'm on it. I smirked with the idea.

I let out a fake sob. "Uncle! I don't know what to do anymore. I can't *sniff* I can't find him" I burst into a loud cry, making it come out real.

The door in my room burst open, Calix show his self, worried in his face. I gave him a 'sshh' sign by placing my pointer finger in my lips.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" He mouthed, I rolled my eyes at him.

"Go away. I'll talk to you later" I answer him back.

"It's okay, Cai. Let it out. I'm coming. I'm coming. Just hang on. We can save him." Ben says in soothing tone. I rolled my eyes at his word.

"Thank you, Ben." I let out a long sob before ending the call.

I stood up on my bed and make my way downstairs. There I saw Alicia, Calix, Earl, Charles, Xander and James, Calix beta and third.

"Hey." I greeted at them, I jump in my seat and ran toward Alicia, my eyes are wide.

"Alicia! Oh my god! It's you! I'm glad you're safe!" I pulled her in a tight hug and pull away when I realize she's pregnant. "Ooppss, sorry" I muttered and look at her tummy. "Hey lil'one. Hung on tight, kay!" I said excitedly. Alicia let out a soft giggle.

"Sam always said that since the day we learn that I am pregnant." She let out a long sigh. I hug her softly.

"We'll get him back, I have plan." I smile at her reassuringly, she gave me a short nod and wipes away her tears.

"You really like your brother, you sounds in deep sleep but have a great plan when you woke up. How'd you do that?" I smirked.

"It's a secret." I turn to the boys that are watching us, amusing.

"Enjoying the show, aren't we?" I joked and they all choked in whatever their eating, munching. My eyes stock at Xander, when I realize who he is.

"Xander, if you're hear then --" I was cut by two female voice giggling from the entrance of the kitchen.

"Rose is here and Earl's mate, what's your name again?" Rose rolled her eyes and smirked. This girl is the only one except for Sam can throw stupid words at me and smirked. Earl's mate blushed.

"Sounds like the real you, the Cailly with memory lost." Rose spat at me. I glared at her.

"I only met her once!" I protest. "Just tell me your name, Earl's mate." I frowned like a child. I heard Alicia giggle on my side. I gave her a look with 'Not funny' and I pouted.

"You look so cute, Sam tells a lot about you. Now I am seeing them myself." She grinned. I rolled my eyes.

"My name is Lori, Alpha Cailly." Earl mates said, blushing. I can see Earl's eyes switching color. I grinned.

"Lori, can you come over here, I have to tell you something." I said playfully and take a glance at Earl, his eyes staring at me. Giving him my evil smirk, he recognize what I have to do. His eyes wide in horror, his mouth open ajar. Charles started to laugh. Calix is as confused as the girls in the room.

Lori gave a questioning look to Earl, Earl's about to speak but Lori's already beside me.

"You know, Earl is a little jerk while you are not around --" I said

"I am not!" Earl yelled, I glare at him, he shut his mouth tight.

"I think you should reject him." I said playfully, winking at her and mouthed. Just ride on it. She slightly nodded in agreement.

"Alpha! Please don't! Lori, don't listen to her, I promise I'm not being a jerk when you're not around. I am very much loyal to you. I swear to God! Oh my!" He blurted out. I am controlling the urge not to laugh at him, but seems like Charles didn't handle it, he burst into laughter. Earl give him a look.

"I'm sorry Earl." Lori said in a low voice. Earl came on Lori's feet and beg.

"Please, No. No. Lori, please don't do this!" He begged. I burst into laughter when I can't handle it anymore.

"Oh my god! I wonder if Sam's reaction is like this!" I said in between laughter. And everyone in the room, with Lori started to laugh with me but not Earl, still in his knees.

"I'm sorry Earl, but seems like you're stock with me forever." Lori stated, wide smile. He sigh in relief and stood up, bringing her in his arms.

When the laughter end, I ask Alicia for what happened.

"Where in the living when someone threw a wolfs-bane gas. It happens so fast, I didn't know what next, but I woke up in a room with Sam, Jake and Marcuz are gone. We can't shift, no mind-link. We're mere human in that place. A man came in and start asking questions to Sam, I don't know who he is but Sam knows him. He's asking about many things, a gift, the secret gift Sam have." Alicia said sounded clueless in herself. I felt myself stiffened.

"Secret gift?" I choked. "No one knows about the gift." I blurted out. "No one dare to used it. It's too dangerous." I continued. The people around me.

"Cailly, you have to tell us about it." Calix said

"No. I only heard it when Mom and Dad are talking. And I learned about it when Dina came to visit me in Los Angeles when I first shifted. She had talked to me and Sam, saying about our gift. I shifted when I was sixteen. Dina told us that we have a special gift, but we can have them when we found our mate, completing the mate process. But I got mine when I first shifted, I can uhm *clears throat* I can stop time, healing powers , heighten senses, and stronger other than any other wolf. Stronger than any other Alpha and much stronger for any normal wolf. I don't used them all. Dina warned me that it'll took it's toll, it can be my start or my end, for good or will be my worse."

"Why you have those gift?"

"My mom is--" I paused to look at them, their eyes are all in me, waiting for me to continue. Clearing my throat. "My mom is a full blood Alpha, her parents are both Alpha. Dina once said, Once two alpha are mated, they make a powerful off-spring which happen to be me and Sam, even if she didn't have the chance to be an Alpha herself, my father is an Alpha, which making us, Sam and I are much powerful." I ended

"You and Calix are Alpha! Woah! This is going to be perfect! So did Alicia and Sam, Alicia is considered Alpha when her father died and she has no siblings! Wow! You're so lucky!" Rose beamed eventually. All eyes directed to her. I saw Calix make his way to me.

"Calix has Athena, and they'll having their child. I won't be mated with him." I said in firmed but low voice. He stop halfway.

"She's not pregnant, we never did that, so it's impossible for her to get pregnant. She only said that to stop you from killing her mate." Calix voice fills with pain. I look up to him. I ran to him, hugging him and he hugs me back tighter.

"That's our cue to leave and let the long lost lovers united." Rose said and everyone marched outside but before they left.

"Benjamin is coming, Earl and Charles, wait for him outside." I said in command and they both nodded.

Calix and I stayed in our position for a couple of minute, Enjoying ourselves.

I pulled away from Calix embrace and run towards the living room.

"Get down!" I shouted, running towards Alicia, protecting her. Just in time the front door busted and group of rogues came into view.

"Cailly" A voice said.
