The urgent buzzing of her phone woke Abigail from the far edge of sleep, making her curse softly as she rolled over to answer it. I had just gotten comfortable, she groused silently, then reached to pick the phone up from her nightstand. “Dr. Feldsher,” she answered as she sat herself up. “It’s Elise Berggren. Sorry if I woke you.” Groaning inwardly, she did her best to put on her helpful physician voice. “No, no, it’s fine.
