I grab his collar and slam his head into the wall and the second cracks through the room and echoes off the metal.
He goes slack for a second and that is all I need. I reach for his weapon and pull it free before he can recover.
The door bursts open before I can reach it and two more guards rush in. their timing is faster than I wanted and tighter than I hoped.
