The First One

"Wisteria Elise T. Costales! You need to wake up! You're drunk! Don't you know this is the day that we've all been waiting for?!" Natasha yelled while trying to wake her bestfriend up, Ria. "What!? Tell me the date." Ria asked. "It's February 27, 2018! Ugh! Just get up first and get ready! Gosh, at this time you are still asleep? Get up!!" Ria woke up completely by hearing what Natasha said. She's never been like this. How can she forget that day? "It's prom day!!" Ria said in her mind not knowing what to do because of the excitement, nervousness, and happiness. While she was eating, Natasha talked to her saying "Gosh, take a bath first, you smell gross." "But still, let me finish my food. You know I love food and I'm still not fully sober right now." After eating, she already decided to take a bath. And while taking a bath, Natasha was already picking what she would wear for that day. And finally, Ria already wore the clothes Natasha picked for her and is now getting her make up done as well as her hair. All of these took 2-3 hours at most. From picking and wearing the clothes, having her hair styled, and for the longest part, getting her make-up done. After that, they rushed to the car and prepared anything they would need. But there's one thing that they should not forget to wear. A mask, a mask that are used for your eyes and whole face, not the one for the virus. As they were rushing to go to the venue, Natasha suddenly got hungry and decided to go get some food at a fast-food restaurant through a drive-thru. "Natasha! You were rushing me and here we are waiting for the food?!?! UGH!" Ria said. "Stop complaining, you're the one who made me hungry and tired. Do you know how hard and how long did it take for me to wake you up?! Gosh, I still can't believe we're best friends." Natasha said with a little anger. "Bestfriends with anger issues I guess." Ria said trying to smoothen the atmosphere. And finally, they have arrived. Luckily, they made it in time. They are now enjoying the party and stealing the spotlight. But suddenly....... The place was dark. There's no light at all. Not knowing what to do, Ria tried to find her bestfriend in the middle of the dark and she suddenly bumped into an unknown man. "Who are you?" Ria asked. "No, who are you?" Said the unknown man. Everyone was chaotic. The crowd was in full chaos which led the both of them to fall. Ria doesn't know what to do. She just stayed still. Then finally, the lights were back. She finally saw the man. She slapped him as they were both on the floor thinking it was the man's fault. She did not hesitate to get up and go away as possible not knowing and seeing the man's face for the man was also wearing a mask. "Where have you been?!" Natasha asked. "I came to find you but then I bumped into an unknown man. Gosh, he's a jerk. Ugh, men these days. I swear I'll be single forever." Ria said being irritated by what happened. "Don't you have your phone or any flashlight with you?" "No. As far as I can remember, I think I left my bag on the car." Ria said. "Fine, let's go, our friends are waiting." Unknown man's POV: "Dude, where have you been?" his best friend asked. "I was just wandering around and then I bumped into a woman. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see her face since she was wearing a mask and as far as I remember, I was drunk back then. Oh, the place was dark that time so I never really got the chance." "You are living the y/n life bruh, good luck." "Shh, what a nonsense, cheers."
