Without hesitation, Justin leaped back into the ravine, his heart pounding with urgency as he searched for Zaria. “Zaria!” he called, his voice echoing off the jagged walls of the gorge. His sharp eyes scanned the rocky terrain, and soon he spotted her a short distance away, standing stiffly near a cluster of moss-covered rocks. “What are you doing, Zaria?” Justin asked, his voice tinged with frustration and relief. “You scared me half to death.” Zaria turned toward him, her face pale but resolute. “I swear, Justin, I saw something. It moved—over there,” she said, pointing toward the shadows beyond the rocks.
