Nicole POV
Every cell in my body was screaming no, at least the logical cells. Other cells that were completely mesmerized by the handsome man standing in front of me screamed yes.
“OK,” I said and allowed him to take me to the water.
The feet were the first to kiss the water, it was beyond chilly. But then again, my senses were far too jumbled to realize this. I followed Nathan’s lead until my body was immersed in the water. My body shivered, Nathan pulled me against his surprisingly warm skin. I clung to him without moving, while Nathan stroked my hair.
I felt surprisingly at peace, a feeling I haven’t felt in a long time.
“Relaxing isn’t it?” he spoke into my hair.
I bobbed my head. I did not want to leave the water and I certainly wanted more than hugging than just a hug.
