My knees trembled as I fell to the floor, my tears flooded freely, and I did not bother to wipe them. I could feel my heart breaking into a million pieces. I felt like the worst mother in the world. Yet again, I failed to protect my children. I had them in my arms and I still could not bring them home.
When Alisha found out that Momo was dead she would surely want revenge and would take it out on my children, and there was nothing at all I could do about it.
