I PULLED UP ON THE street, behind George’s car, to let him out. “You going swing dancing again tonight?” I asked. “Yeah, reckon I will.” George checked his watch. “Wanna car pool? Might as well save some fuel since my car’s already here.” “Okay. I need to change first. Do you need anything?” “Nah. I’m right like this.” “You can wash up the pot while you wait, then.” I smirked.
