From living as a royalty to being a commoner. This is a story about royal bloodlines, wilderness, kingdoms and empires. How far can greed warp fate in the era of slavery, wars, and imperial dynasties? Where systems and marriages are not yet ethically defined?
Excerpt: The future is dark for Leto. She felt the last moisture leave her body. How can I survive this smoldering environment? She thought. Two months ago, she was kicking and covering much distance, racing with the desert wind. She knew she must find a shelter soon. At least a shade of a bush would help, yet she saw nothing but an endless view of sparkling golden grains.
Stumbling, now she is convinced that this will be the last minute of her breathing moments. She tried licking her lips to relieve them from their dryness, but even her tongue felt bare. She gives her last push to cover more distance which bears hope. A well. Leto spotted a well but lost consciousness. She sees only black and feels faint, but there are feathery touches, a very soft voice. Leto felt invigorated, but her time fighting the heat and dehydration rendered her weak. She gave in to the caring cradle of a person, and that's when the miracle started.
