We hadn’t said another word to each other after making the bet, other than a muttered “see you tomorrow” before I’d continued on alone. I knew I should have kept walking to my house, but Taka’s kiss still burned on my lips, driving me half wild. It had felt so damn good, I nearly grabbed him and kissed him again when he’d stopped.
