There is a bus that only comes at 11:59PM. If you see it, you’re already on the list.Daniel Mensah thought it was just a city legend. Route 87. The bus with no driver. The bus that takes 12 people every month. Until his friend’s name appeared in a book made of skin.`FRANCISCA FORSON - PASSENGER 10` `PICKUP: 3:00AM` `FARE: ONE LIFE`Now Daniel has 7 days to find the bus before it finds her. With his best friends Jane and Raphael, and a voice in his head called Cecil, Daniel follows the clues: An abandoned terminal in Accra North. A photo from 1987. And a man in a mechanic’s uniform who calls himself _The Conductor_.The Conductor made a deal 40 years ago. 12 souls for 1 life. Every month. His daughter has been living because other people die.But the rules are changing. The Ledger is bleeding. And the buses are multiplying.Under Terminal 0, Daniel finds it: _The Garage_. Hundreds of white buses. Route 88. Route 89. All empty. All waiting. And at the center, the original Ledger. The master contract signed in blood. To save Francisca, Daniel has 2 choices: 1. Burn the Ledger and doom thousands of souls to die at once. 2. Take the Conductor’s place. Become the new driver of death. He chooses option 3: Refuse. Now the route is closed. But Death doesn’t like being cheated. The bus is still looking for 12 people. And Daniel just put his own name at the top of the list. One boy. One bus. And a contract written in blood that was never meant to be.*PART 1: THE LIST - CHAPTER 1-8*Daniel Mensah, is a security man in Accra. On a Tuesday at 2:55AM, Daniel sees it: A black bus with no lights. Route 87. It stops. The doors open. No driver. 3 people get on. They never get off.The next day, Francisca gets a text from an unknown number: `11:59AM. Don’t miss your ride.`That night, Daniel finds an old book in his late grandfather’s things. The Ledger. Pages of skin. Written in blood. And there on page 47: `FRANCISCA FORSON - PASSENGER 10`With Jane, his smart classmate, and Raphael, his mechanic friend, Daniel investigates. They learn about _The Conductor_ — a man who’s been driving Route 87 since 1987. They learn the rule: 12 passengers a month. No more, no less.Cecil starts talking to Daniel. A voice from the Ledger. The spirit of the first person who tried to stop the bus and failed. `You can’t warn her,` Cecil says. `If you do, the bus picks 3 randoms instead.`Daniel refuses to accept that. He has 7 days until 11:59PM.*PART 2: TERMINAL 0 - CHAPTER 9-17*The trail leads to Abandoned Bus Terminal, Accra North. Inside the maintenance room: a photo from 1987. 12 people. A black bus. And the Conductor holding the Ledger. The floor opens. Stairs down. Underground: _THE GARAGE. WHERE DEATH PARKS._Hundreds of white buses. Route 88. All empty. On a workbench: The Original Ledger. Pages of skin. Pen made of a finger. One name written: `C. CONDUCTOR - SIGNED 1987`Daniel’s mom recognizes him. “That’s the man from the stories. He never aged.”The Conductor appears. Not in a suit. In mechanic overalls. He tells the truth: In 1986, his daughter had leukemia. Death offered a deal. 12 souls every month = 1 more year for his daughter. He’s been choosing who dies for 40 years.`Take my place,` the Conductor says. `Sign the Ledger. Drive the bus. Save your friend.`Daniel reads the contract. Sees the failsafe: If the Ledger is destroyed, all debts come due at once. Thousands die.So he writes a new clause: `NO MORE COLLECTION. DEBT PAID.` The Ledger rejects it. `ONLY THE ORIGINAL SIGNER CAN AMEND.`Daniel makes his choice. He writes: `I REFUSE.` And slams the Ledger shut. The garage collapses. The Conductor screams. The buses crash. At 11:59PM, no bus comes for Francisca. The route is closed.*PART 3: THE DEBT COMES DUE - CHAPTER 18-30*They think they won. For 1 week, nothing happens. Francisca is safe. Then the dreams start. Daniel dreams of hundreds of buses. All with his face in the driver’s seat. Cecil warns him: `You broke a cosmic contract. Death will collect another way.`

Chapter 1:At 11:59 pm
The bus arrived every night at exactly 11:59 p.m. No one knew where it came from. No one knew where it went. Yet every night, one passenger stepped off at the deserted Crosswind Bus Terminal—a place that had been closed for nearly fifteen years. Security guard Daniel Mensah had worked the night shift for six months. He knew every sound the abandoned terminal made: the groan of rusted metal, the howl of the wind through broken windows, the scratching of rats beneath the old ticket booths. But he had never seen a bus.Until the night the security cameras captured one. Daniel replayed the footage over and over. A white coach bus rolled into the terminal. Its headlights were off. Its license plate was blank. The doors opened. One person stepped out. The figure wore a black hooded coat and carried a worn leather briefcase. Then the bus pulled away. The cameras lost signal for exactly twelve seconds. When the picture returned, the passenger had vanished.Daniel searched the terminal from top to bottom.Nothing.No footprints. No open doors. No signs that anyone had been there. The next morning, he reported the incident. His supervisor laughed."The cameras glitched."Daniel wanted to believe him. Then the local news reported that a city council member had been murdered sometime after midnight. The victim's house was less than a mile from the abandoned terminal.Daniel felt a chill. The following night, the bus returned.Again...One passenger.Again... A different face.Again...Gone before anyone could find them. The next morning another person was dead. This time, a retired judge. On the third night, Daniel ignored company policy. When the bus doors opened, he followed the passenger. The hooded stranger didn't look back.He walked through the empty terminal, down a forgotten maintenance tunnel, and disappeared behind a steel door hidden beneath decades of dust. Daniel forced it open.Behind it was an underground station unlike anything he had ever seen.Rows of monitors displayed photographs of powerful people across the city. Some faces were marked with red Xs. Others with black circles. At the center of the room stood a wall-sized map connected by hundreds of red strings. Every murder. Every victim. Every suspect. Everything had been planned years in advance. Before Daniel could react, a calm voice echoed through the darkness. "You weren't supposed to find this." Lights flickered on. More than twenty people emerged from the shadows. Business leaders. Police officers. Judges. Government officials. Every one of them had been declared dead over the past decade.Yet here they stood... Alive. The "victims" had never died. They had disappeared voluntarily, joining a secret organization that controlled the city's future from the shadows. The mysterious bus wasn't transporting ghosts. It was recruiting replacements. Daniel understood the horrifying truth. Every passenger left the bus carrying a new identity. Every "death" erased an old life. Every recruitment strengthened the organization. A woman stepped forward and handed Daniel a leather briefcase identical to the others. Inside was a passport bearing his photograph. A new driver's license. Cash. A file stamped with one word: REPLACEMENT "You have two choices," she said. "Walk away tonight and become tomorrow's headline..." "...or board the bus as its next passenger." Daniel looked toward the exit.It had disappeared. Outside, the engine of the white bus started once more. Its doors slowly opened. Waiting. ##Sabie_arie##
