His and hers

Chapter 10

[Serena] 

We each had a shot of tequila and I grimaced due to the taste. Everyone else was fine as they seemed to have had more alcohol than me. If I’m honest, I have never liked alcohol that much so after that I was done. Alex was peering down at me with a mixture of smugness and laughter. “Oi boys, I am challenging you to whoever can drink more tequila shots” Max said. 

Alex looked at me as if he was asking me whether it was ok. “ No, Alex won’t be taking part in your challenge” I mocked. I absolutely hate when people get drunk and can’t control themselves. 

“Well I am in” Daniel chimed in and before they got up to go and sit at the bar Max taunted  “ come on, Alex. Prove yourself. If not for yourself, than for Serena. Do her proud.”

“I am a werewolf, kitten, I don’t get drunk easily. I can easily out drink them humans” Alex whispered to me before agreeing and sitting at the bar with the other boys. Me and the girls were chatting while the boys took shots. Soon after they had started, Daniel came and joined us, telling us how disgusting tequila is. While we were laughing and joking together, Alex and Max were still going. “Alex, Max come on now, that’s enough” I called. 

“Just a bit more, I almost have him” Alex said. I rolled my eyes but watched them. Max was clearly already tipsy and as I watched them I realised that Max wasn’t even drinking the shots, he was just chucking them over his shoulder. “Alex, you can’t be serious. He’s not even drinking them. Come back to sit with us and get to know my friends a bit more” I whispered in his ear. 

“Just a bit more. I can beat him for you. I would notice if he weren’t drinking” Axel replied and I could tell he was a bit tipsy. I sighed, getting a bit angry and started to walk back to the table. All of a sudden I was knocked onto the floor. “Watch where you’re going” a voice said. I followed the voice to a very intimidating man standing over me. He had bright green eyes as cropped black hair with several tattoos on his forearm. He was a scary type of attractive and gave of a dangerous energy. “Sorry” I squeaked and he just shook his head and walked past me leaving me on the floor. Lily walked over and helped me up. “Bastard “ she muttered as we both headed back to the table. “The dance floors opened” Molly squealed and dragged Daniel towards it. Me and Lily were just chatting until a very drunk Alex staggered over to me. “I think he cheated because I am a —“ he hiccuped and I interrupted “come over here with me Alex.” I grabbed hold of him and we walked to the other side of the room, well I dragged him to the other side of the room. “ I love you Serena” Alex mumbled and pulled me into a hug. 

“Alex, what you said about when your wolf takes control your body regenerates is true,right?” 

“Yup”he giggled.

“Then I need you to give Ryder control now please because you are in no shape to stay like this for the rest of the night” I stayed.

“Are you sad with me? I’m sorry” he babbled.

“No I’m pissed off with you because I hate this so much. I want Ryder please” I replied agitated. He closed his eyes and his body went rigid for a second and then his eyes opened and they were pitch black  and his hands had turned into claws.
