LUCY THE ADVENTURER

There was once a man named Mr Kelvin who was a scientist and a woman named Mrs Blessing a medical doctor. They live in America and was just pregnant for their first child. One day,Mr Kelvin asked his wife what they should name the baby Mrs Blessing said Good luck her husband said no Mercy Mrs Blessing said no peace Mr Kelvin said no they argued for a while until Mrs Blessing said Lucy and they agreed to name the baby Lucy. Then, Mr Kelvin said can we go for a work through the street Mrs Blessing said she was tired but said they should go. After a while, they were on the street taking a walk when Mr Kelvin notice a boy was stuck on a fence he went there and ask the boy what he was doing on the fence. The boy told him that It was not his fault that he was bouncing on a trampoline with his friends and Got stuck on the fence when he bounced high. Mr Kelvin said it was okay and look for a ladder to bring the boy down. He brought the boy down the boy thanked him and he told the boy you are welcome and continued his walk with Mrs Blessing. After working for a while they decided to head home they talked about their baby on the way back home. When they got home Mrs Blessing went into the kitchen and made a good meal for her and Mr Kelvin to eat. They both ate together and when they were done eating they talked a little and went to sleep. The next day, Mr Kelvin was called to come to work he couldn't leave Mrs blessing at home alone so he told them he wasn't coming but Mrs Blessing told him to go and he called them and told them he was on his way. By the time Mr Kelvin was ready to go to work Mrs Blessing was already done cleaning the house. When Mr Kelvin was ready to go he told Mrs Blessing he would be back very soon that she should not worry too much about him. A while later after Mr Kelvin has gone Mrs Blessing began to feel hungry so she went into the kitchen and made rice and stew to eat. After she was done eating she went to the balcony and sat for a long time. As she was there she slept off. Before evening Mr Kelvin came home from work and saw her sleeping in the balcony. He woke her up and helped her to the room. When Mr Kelvin was done taking his bath he went to the kitchen and prepared a delicious lunch for him and his wife to eat. Mrs Blessing woke up and Mr Kelvin helped her to the table and they ate when they were done eating they walked a little down the street and returned home to sleep. The next day, Mr Kelvin and Mrs Blessing woke up very early in the morning to go to the hospital because Mrs Blessing was having some complains. They left their house around 8:00 and got to the hospital 9:30. When they reach there Mrs Blessing told the doctor all her complain and the doctor said it is a sign that the baby will be ready to be delivered. She asked him for how long and he told her 4 weeks she was so happy. The doctor gave her some medicine to take so she won't feel too much pain. She thanked him and her and her husband started to go back home. When they got home Mrs Blessing was so happy that she couldn't even eat. After a long time of happiness she ate her food and her and her husband had a long discussion before they went to bed. The next day, Mrs Blessing sent her husband on an errand to buy all the things her baby will need when she is born her husband told her it was okay and went to buy it. In the afternoon her husband was back with what she asked him to buy she thanked him and began to check everything one by one. After a while she became hungry and went into the kitchen to cook for herself and her husband they ate and went to bed because it was already late. The next day, Mrs Blessing was not feeling well so Mr Kelvin took her to the hospital. When they got there the doctor checked her and told her the baby was ready and anytime from that day it will be ready to come out. Mrs Blessing was so happy she told the doctor bye and went home with her husband. After 3 weeks,Mrs Blessing started to see sign of delivery coming soon. It was not easy for her to move around her husband had to help her move around. Evening rose early and Mr Kelvin and Mrs Blessing had to eat and go to bed early because Mrs blessing wanted to visit the hospital the next day. The next day, Mrs Blessing was in labour Mr Kelvin rushed her to the hospital after an hour Mrs Blessing had given birth to a baby girl she was so happy. When Mr Kelvin heard it he was so happy. The doctor congratulated Mrs Blessing. After some days they left the hospital. Mrs Blessing was so happy when they got home. She cared for the baby very much she feed her very well. On the naming ceremony of Mrs Blessing baby they had a party. They named the baby Lucy they all congratulated Mrs Blessing. After the naming ceremony of Lucy Mrs Blessing took care of her feed her and gave her a bath and everything. After a long time of taking care of Lucy Mrs Blessing took Lucy to the room and put her to sleep. Then Mrs Blessing and Mr Kelvin went into the sitting room and ate. Then they discussed for a while before they went to sleep.
