"Focus Luce''.
Pushing my arms up, I kicked Tim in the stomach, adding a bit of werewolf strength, which sent him jolting back. My wolf growled, ready to make another attack. I didn't get very far, a strong muscular arms had my hands pinned above my head with Tim straddling me in instant, frowning down at me in concern.
Growling in frustration, I kicked his heavy form off me and stood up, already over this training and definitely feeling not in the mood.
"I am." I grounded out, growing frustrated by the minute. Both Tim and I knew this was a lie as I had been focused on nothing this past week but Tristan.
It's been five days since I had last seen him, and my wolf was missing him terribly. She was not the only one. It's even worse how we haven't mated yet. Usually within the first few days of meeting your Mate, you complete the Mating bond and mark one another. I couldn't help but let my mind trail to the exciting thoughts if Tristan and I mated.
My wolf whined, longing for her Mate. She has been incredibly lonely the past few days. I haven't forgotten either when she had told me multiple of times that she could feel Tristan wold. And it seems he wasn't coping any better.
"Tomorrow" my wolf whispered excitedly.
Suddenly realizing Tim was standing in front of me, looking at me with an eyebrow quirked, I turn away blushing. Thinking how embarrassing it was.
Tim sighed, running a hand through his short cropped brown hair. "No you're not." I looked down frustrate, blowing out a deep breath through my nose. Looking back up at Tim, I noticed concern expression that he had.
"Luce, I know you have a lot on your mind with Alpha Tristan" Tim paused and quickly glanced at me, seeing if he made the mistake of mentioning my Mate. When he noticed it was okay he continued.
"Coming tomorrow and everything, but this training is important. The Alpha wants everyone training, because the thing that killed the child from Alpha Tristan could possibly move onto our pack."
I nodded in understanding. In the distance I heard my name being called.
"Luce!"
Turning my head towards the edge of the forest, I saw my dad looking at us. My dad face was over into a stressful expression as he made his way towards me. Smiling tiredly at my father, I rose my hand in a slight wave.
"Hey dad," I greeted, a dad put his hand on my shoulder. Dad smiled at me, then turned to Tim. "Thanks Tim, but I think we're finished here".
Tim nodded, "I agree Will, this one has been slacking". Tim mentioned about me to my dad, when I was tying my hair up. I growled lowly, prying Tim hands away from me. Dad laugh and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, pulling me to his side. Looking down at me, he spoke to Tim. "Is that so?"
I smiled in annoyance, "I'm sorry, it's just.... I've had a lot on my mind lately". And it's true, with your wolf continuously calling for her Mate, and with the arrival of Tristan and some of his Pack tomorrow, you wouldn't exactly be thinking about training or unimportant stuff.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I felt dad give my shoulders a reassuring squeeze. Looking at dad and Tim, I see some understanding small smiles. Stepping out of my dad grasp, I grabbed my water bottle and other training stuff.
Stretching out my sore muscles, I walk back to where dad and Tim were, engaged in a conversation. As I reached them, they stop talking and looked at me.
"They are keeping something from us", my wolf whispered, finally removing herself from the back of my mind. I frowned.
"What do you mean?" I asked my wolf.
My wolf sighed,"I'm not sure, but I could feel their wolves uneasiness, as we were walking towards them"
"Luce?" my dad said, shaking my shoulder. I turn my head towards my dad, realizing dad and Tim had been trying to get my attention. I smiled at them. Dad shook his head, "Talking with your wolf?" I rubbed my head before replying, "Yeah".
I decided to ask my dad later about what he had been talking to Tim about. Dad wrapped his arms around my shoulder and began to lead us back to the pack village, Tim walk on my dad other side.
My mind suddenly wandered to the time, when I asked dad about the strange unfamiliar scent I had smelt on the way back from the Alpha house. At that time my dad looked at me with shock, but then quickly turning into anger.
I was surprised, as my dad told me not to go wandering outside, alone at night and then he quickly dismissed himself, rushing towards the direction where the Alpha house is. I was going to go after him and I wanted to demand answers as he clearly knew what the scent I had smelt was. But, dad knew better than me and he knew what he was doing.
Turning back into reality, I looked around to see we had reached the center of village. I didn't even noticed we passed our house. Dad released me. Dad pointed to the Alpha house, "Aria and Jake are in there and are expecting you." I nodded and smiled.
"And where are you two going?" I asked eyeing Tim and my dad. It didn't go unnoticed as dad and Tim quickly exchanged glances before averting their gaze back to me.
"We have some business to discuss with the Alpha". I looked at the two of the, weirdly. yep, defiantly something going on. I shoved the thoughts out of my mind. "Okay, I'll see you later?" I asked and he kiss my forehead.
"Of course sweetheart". I leaned back and smiled at him before turning at Tim who was looking into the woods.
"See ya Tim", I mentioned. Tim turned towards me. He nodded his head, "bye Luce".
With that dad gave another quick goodbye, and walk with Tim in the opposite direction. My face was little bit upset of what my dad and Tim might be hiding from me. If they are hiding something from me, then i think it's for my good that they are hiding things from me. I made my way towards Alpha house.
