The Boundary Line

Chapter 4

Never in my life have I felt that something bad is gonna happen. But right now that feeling is killing me.

Alpha Mike told us to shift into our human form. I did as I was told and I shuffled to a tree near and focused on my human legs and arms. Once I was on my human form, I put on my clothes and changed quickly.

I walked toward my dad who was waiting for me. He put an arm around my shoulder and squeezed me.

“How are you feeling?” He wanted to know.

I gave him a small smile. “I’m fine dad” I exclaimed.

Alpha Mike found a moment to speak. “Ok, everyone so when you go there don’t speak with anyone, unless they speak to you first and don’t look up into their eyes”. He ordered. Mike began to exist out of the forest and we all followed him.

As we made our way over rocks and through a few more trees, we finally reached The Dark Moon pack village. No one was in sight.

“Welcome” a deep voice greeted. I jumped back in surprise. 

There standing in front of me was a man. He was no older than 23. I looked at his dark almost brown hair that reached his ears. He held no emotion and his skin was olive tone color.

“Thank you” Alpha Mike replied politely.

I lowered my eyes to see both of them shaking their hands. Mike pulled back his hands and he introduced each of us.

“This is my Beta Will, third in command Joe and my best warrior Tim” he then paused and looked at me.

“This is Luce, Will's daughter,” Mike said.

The man quickly introduced himself.

“My name is Noah, and I am Beta of this pack”.

I took a deep breath and breath in his scent. It was musky and sure enough it smelled like Beta.I breath in his scent again, but I found another scent of someone else on him. It smelt of woods and something sweet. It was mouthwatering and I wanted to roll into it.

My eyes widen. Could my mate be here? I began to panic, I prayed my mate to be not from here.

Noah began talking again. “I hope you all had a safe journey” he paused and then looked at Mike. “The Alpha is waiting for you, follow me”.

With that we all started walking. I moved my legs and followed after Noah.

On our way I saw a few houses and they were well built. Off in the distance I could see a few more houses, but the house that stood the most was a large 3 story house. I guessed it was Alpha house. 

We continued to walk and on our way I saw a stage. I thought that’s where the Alpha stands.

I suddenly felt the same scent that I felt earlier. But it was so clear.

My wolf started to get excited inside me, but said nothing.

As we continued to walk, we saw a crowd of The Dark Moon pack and some were staring us in wonder. I thought to myself so it was true that they were trained to be a fighter since they were light. Become muscular and powerful. I tried to not make any eye contact with any of them.

Noah led us past the pack and up in the front. Then he looked at us. “Stay here, the Alpha will be here soon”.

When I looked up there wasn’t any Alpha.

“Dad, where is the Alpha?” I asked him.

Just as I asked I heard footsteps echoing towards us.

“Coming”, dad replied.
