Kyoko landed hard, hitting her head and elbows on the unforgiving pavement. The brightness of the flames vanished and was replaced by the soft glow of the parking lot lights. She watched the ashes float around like a snowstorm, then sighed in relief as a strange wind cut through the parking lot to carry them away from her. The thought of inhaling vampire was just gross.
