The meeting with Beatrice went surprisingly well, although she insisted on including candy-coated almonds at each place setting and placing them around the food area to bring good luck. That was easy enough.
But something still seemed off about what was going on. Who would cancel Autumn and Ray’s wedding cake? Elizabeth gave the bakery a code-word to use, ensuring it was her, in case there were other changes. Someone surely meant to disrupt the wedding.
Elizabeth ordered the invitations online, triple checked them, added the dietary and guest responses to the RSVP cards, including who would bring their canine companion, and loaded the guest list into the app. Having them mailed directly from the printer removed the chance of anyone messing with them.
