Angeline POV:
We went to the Arena after breakfast. It was so fun with the kids around.
I was so excited.
Werloth grabbed the bow and the arrow and handed it over to me.
My lips formed a big grin on their own accord.
“All right, Angel. The most important abilities for an archer are: concentration, strength, eyesight, flexibility and, of course, accuracy. Do you know which one is your dominant eye?” Werloth asked me.
“Yes, my father took us to a shooting club in the human realm once. It’s my left eye”, I let him know.
“Perfect, then you grab the bow with your right hand and push the arrow with your left hand” he said, and I did as I'd been told.
However, his body was covering me as his hands were gilding my hands and arms.
“This is going to be better than I expected”, Delphyne said, and I agreed.
“Now, this white line is our line of fire. Place your feet in between them, making sure they are parallel, place yourself completely at your side headed towards your target because you’re going to use the whole opening of your chest to pull the string”. He said, and I listened to him carefully.
I was doing everything he was telling me to while he was also helping me.
Feeling his hands on my body and having him helping me was making it better than I thought.
“Now you place the arrow on the bow and the back of the arrow will stick to the string, it will make an ‘click’ sound because this is a training bow. In a few weeks, we can go hunt for you to practice”, he said, and I did it as I'd been told, excitedly.
“Perfect, my Angel. Now you will get the bow into position and only then, you’ll pull the string, your index finger above the arrow and only your middle and ring finger down. Pull it until you can feel your fingers on your cheek, it’ll make it easier for you to aim at your target. Your elbow should always be up, it will make the shot easier. Remember when you release the arrow, try to keep your hands back or else, the bow will hurt you and we can’t let that happen.” He said, winking at me with his droolworthy smile.
I thought it would be easier, but still, I was enjoying it a lot. I know my aim was pretty good, but I really wanted to learn all the techniques and Werloth wasn’t leaving anything behind.
I was truly glad about it.
“Now, aim and shoot, Angel” he whispered in my ear, giving me goosebumps all over my body.
I inhaled deeply and I was exhaling and inhaling very slowly, almost holding my breath. It helped me to focus and to aim properly. I shot and the arrow went straight forward right at the middle of the red spot on my target.
I made a big grin in response, I was so happy with Werloth and his tips.
I turned to look at him and he was also smiling at me in approval.
I just held him and jumped on him, he grabbed me in the air, laughing and I gave him a quick kiss.
We kept training and when we checked on the time, it was almost 2pm.
“All right, let’s go back to our room, Angel. We’ll take a shower and have some lunch”, Werloth said, and I nodded.
He flashed us both.
“You can go first” he said, and he turned in the direction of his closet to grab some clothes for him.
“Werloth, thank you so much for today. You are a real great teacher, just like my mother told me you were”, I said, and he smiled at me.
He approached me and when he was close enough, he grabbed my hand.
“You were great. I’ve never seen someone learn that fast as you did”, he praised me and I couldn’t help my happiness.
He pressed his lips on mine and my heart was already melting all over him.
I went to take a shower after we parted. It didn’t take long.
Afterwards, I dried myself, put on my lotions all over my body, got dressed with black leggings and a white tank top and brushed my hair.
I would dry my hair in the room so Werloth could take a shower.
I grabbed my dryer and left the bathroom. Werloth frowned.
“Won’t you dry your hair, Angel? You’re with your dryer in your hand” he said, chuckling in the last part while he was talking, which just made me feel like I was in heaven.
My lips formed a smile on their own accord.
“Look at you, you’re so in love. I can’t blame you, though”. Delphyne said and I blushed.
“I will do it here, so you can shower”, I simply told him and he chuckled.
“You can take your time, don’t worry” he assured me, and I didn’t know what to do.
I didn’t want to oppose him, so I went into the bathroom again to dry my hair as fast as I could.
When I was finishing, Werloth came in and I swear my breath hitched and my mouth went dry.
He was wearing only a towel wrapped up around his waist.
I was gawking at him shamelessly because I couldn’t think about anything else right now.
“Oh Goddess” I gasped, mostly to myself, which earned me a laugh from Delphyne.
Werloth also chuckled and I snapped out of my thoughts.
I placed everything back quickly and made my way out of the bathroom as fast as I could.
I couldn’t even stare at him right at that moment anymore.
I sat on the edge of the bed and waited for him.
I decided to have my hair braided back while I waited.
In this hairstyle there are some thin Dutch braids on the sides and some variation of them on the top. Everything else is left down freely.
Dea said it’s perfect for training and fighting. She loved the Vikings’ hairstyles, so she taught us how to do it.
Soon, Werloth came out of the bathroom already dressed, he glared at me and I sighed at the way he was staring.
“You’re stunning, Angel” he whispered to me.
He approached and took my hand for us to leave.
We were all having a great time in the kitchen.
All of a sudden, we heard a loud noise like an alarm; they were blowing goat horns. I knew what this meant.
Someone was attacking us.
Werloth stood up at once and Balin flashed at the same time.
“Angel, please, stay here. We’re being attacked”, Werloth pleaded to me.
“No way, I want to join you” I said, determined.
“Please, I don’t want you to get hurt”, he insisted.
“I won’t, just let me go with you”, I coaxed.
But he just shook his head, put both of his hands on my shoulders, one on each side.
“I can’t. Please, just be safe. We have a safe room in the castle”, Werloth said, and I frowned.
He seemed to be mind-linking someone. Not long after, Melian came in.
“Come, Princess Angeline. I’ll take you to the safe room and I’ll join the fight” she said, and I got enraged.
I was about to stand for myself again, but Werloth cut me.
“No, please. You both go, it’ll be better this way” he said and flashed.
“Unbelievable” I gushed through gritted teeth.
I knew he wanted to protect me, but I’m sure I’m strong enough to easily fight against anything and anyone.
“Follow me, Princess”, she said, and I frowned.
“I don’t have a good feeling about this”, Delphyne said, and I agreed.
“Me neither, if we can’t fight with them. We should at least try to find out what’s going on. She can’t be trusted", I replied to my dragon.
I followed after Melian and she opened the door.
“Please, come in”, she said, and I made my way there.
She was still at the door, I noticed there was nobody else there.
I turned around and Melian slammed the door close.
“Hey, what the heck are you doing?” I shouted.
I tried to open the door, but nothing.
I waved my hand but still nothing.
I tried to flash away, but I couldn’t.
I even tried to mind-link anyone, but nothing.
“Someone cast a spell in this room, that’s why she locked us here” Delphyne said.
I tried to create some fire in my hands and threw it at the door. The fire vanished.
“That’s so unbelievable. Why are you doing this? Werloth needs us”, I shouted again.
But all I ever heard in response was a laugh.
She left. Oh no. What am I going to do?
I’m sure that all of this is happening because of Melian. She might be the one who’s behind all of this.
“Let’s keep trying to think about something to get us out of here” Delphyne said, and I agreed.

Andrea POV:
It’s been a few days already, but I miss Angeline.
Luke had gone to the mountains as always. Mom and dad at the company.
Bella was studying and I was at the Black Moon Pack’s training ground.
It was 3pm and I just left the bathroom. I took a quick shower and I was in the Beta’s room in the packhouse.
Hunter moved to Henry’s old house. He was very private, even though he had fun moments with us sometimes.
I tried to mind-link my sister, but nothing. That’s weird, she never closes her mind-link connection with us.
“I think there’s something wrong with her. I can’t reach Delphyne either”, Hydra told me, and I got worried.
I decided I would check on Angeline. I hope she doesn’t mind.
I miss her and I have the ability to get into my family’s minds.
Of course, I don’t do it regularly. I respect their privacy.
I closed my eyes and I reached her. She was locked in a room.
“What, in the deepest pit of the Underworld, is happening there?” I asked.
I saw she was trying to get out of there but nothing worked.
Then I heard a woman laughing outside the door.
Oh no, this is bad. I need to go there. How could I?
I had no idea where the Elven Realm was located.
“Mom? Can you please send me the location of the Elven Realm? Especially Werloth’s castle. I can’t reach Angeline. I think there’s something wrong with her” I mind-linked my mom.
I would never involve her, but I had not much of an option left.
“What? I’ll flash there”, she said.
“Please, you don’t need to, mom. I’ll go. I promise that I’ll let you know if anything bad happens. Just send me the location”, I pleaded to her.
After a few seconds, she sent me through mind-link.
I flashed at the very same time.
“Hurry, hide somewhere, someone is approaching” Hydra said, and I looked around.
I was in the dining room, the place was beautiful and clean, there was nowhere to hide.
I heard steps coming in my direction. I closed my eyes and I held my breath.
Suddenly, I heard someone close to me.
She stopped.
“Dea, open your eyes”, Hydra told me, and I did.
I saw an elf woman. She had long blonde hair, green eyes, milky pale skin.
She looked around and I could swear she looked at me, but she just kept walking in the direction she was supposed to before.
I frowned.
“Dea, we’re invisible. I don’t know how” Hydra said, and I was relieved, somehow.
I started to search for the door I saw in Angel’s mind.
It took me some minutes, but I found one very similar.
I tried to open it but it was locked.
“Is there somebody there? Please, open the door”. I heard a very desperate voice, Angel’s voice.
“Angel, is that you?” I asked.
“What? Dea?” She asked and I could breathe again.
I waved my hand and unlocked the door. Angeline came out and she hugged me.
I hugged her back.
“What’s going on? What happened?” I asked her and she just shook her head.
“There’s no time to explain, we’re being attacked and that b***h locked me up in here instead. I’m sure she’s behind it all. That’s unbelievable”, Angel said, and my eyes opened wide in surprise.
“If the Elven Realm is under attack, we should get going now. We need to help them” I said, and Angel nodded at me.
“Wait, how do you know where I was?” Angel asked me and I rolled my eyes at her.
“Well, I missed you. I tried to contact you but you were unreachable. So, I just entered your mind, I hope you don’t mind” I told her, making a puppy face and she chuckled.
“Well, not at all. I’m glad about it. Thank you so much”.
“I love your hair, you did it well”, I told her and she chuckled.
She held my hand and we flashed outside the castle.
“Let’s fly”, she told me, and I gave her a big grin in response.
“Finally, some real action” Hydra said.
