10. First Kiss

Werloth POV:

I wiped my tears.

I adjusted myself, I felt my body as light as a feather and I made my way there.

“Oh King Werloth, Sir” Dain said politely, yet there was a good feeling laced into his voice.

“Just Werloth for both of you”, I said, and I sat by Angeline’s side.

“So, what are we doing here?” I asked her with a big smile on my face.

“So, you’re not mad at me?” She asked me with a concerned face.

“Of course not. Why would I? You were amazing. I was upset by the situation. Melian won’t have a word at anything anymore.” I told her and I felt how relieved she was. She really cared for the servants.

She smiled at me and I glanced at her lips. I have been trying not to do that ever since she came here because it was getting hard to resist and now it has become even harder.

“All right, kids, take a look at that.” She said, and Dain and Alais were intently staring at the bowl. She put the chocolates inside the bowl and she placed the strawberries on a plate and the cookies on another.

She held the bowl in her hands and the chocolate started to melt all over inside the bowl.

“No need to stir, no need to wait long and we’ll have a delicious chocolate fondue in no time. My dad used to do that for me and my siblings and now I’m making it for you and soon I’ll make it for my children too.” She said and she looked startled by her own words as soon as the words came out from her delightful lips.

She looked at me and blushed but she started to laugh out loud and it was so contagious that the kids and I ended up laughing too.

We all ate it and the kids loved it and so did I. We played until it was afternoon.

Alais was a great elf, but Dain just had something on his soul that was like he was calling for me and I was willing to attend to this call.

We decided to go back inside only after the kids got tired and dirty.

I held Angeline's soft hand and she intertwined our fingers, making the electric jolts become erupting volcanoes all over inside my being as we were taking them back to their moms.

“You can come to play around whenever you want to.” I reassured them again.

“Thank you, King Werloth,” Alais said.

Dain approached me and pointed at the ground in front of him.

I understood what he wanted and I got on my knees and he whispered something in my ear.

“She loves you.” He giggled afterwards.

“I love her too.” I whispered back in his ear.

They made their way to their moms and I glared at Angeline.

“I want to show you something.” I told her and I flashed us to the hall in front of my room’s door.

I held her hand and led her further to the place at the end of the hall. It was protected by enchanted vines.

I created them and only I could take them off.

I pointed my hands to the vines and I made them retract, getting out of the way.

When we made our way there, she was looking at everything in awe.

“What’s this place? It’s so beautiful.” She whispered.

She was so mesmerized that she could barely glare at me. I smiled over her surprising gaze.

Angeline POV:

He made the vines retract and we entered a place that looked like another dimension, but it was Werloth’s private part of the castle.

It looked like the highest place of the castle, above a mountain or a waterfall, we never know in this magnificent realm. But we could watch the sunset.

It looked like a different world. I've never been to the Fae Realm but I'm sure that it might just look like that.

There was a meadow and a small lagoon with very crystalline water and a small fancy house that looked like a mini version of Werloth’s castle. Everything was really beautiful. I felt like I was almost crying.

“I think we both know why he took you here”. Delphyne said, excited.

I felt my heart speeding up and I took a lungful of air. His pine and tonka bean scent relaxed me.

He waved his fingers and a wild-roses and jasmines bouquet levitated into his hands.

He handed it over to me.

“For you, my Angel.” He said and my heart was beating so fast that I could barely hear what he said.

"Lucky we're dragons", Delphyne said.

"I couldn't be more thankful for that", I replied back at her.

“Thank you. I love it, it smells wonderful.” I told him, blushing.

“That’s your scent, wild-roses and jasmines.” He whispered, caressing my face.

Is my scent so wonderful as that?

That’s why he gave me wild-roses and jasmines.

Oh! This elf...

Werloth just made it the best experience I've ever had since I got here.

"It can still get better", my golden dragon said.

"It always can, as long as I'm by his side", I whispered back at her.

Delphyne was almost howling like a wolf. I’ve never seen her that happy before.

I smiled and took another lungful of the flowers' scent.

He smiled back, still caressing my face with his fingers with a light touch, sliding up and down, and I was getting into the haze standing next to him, having him so close to me.

It was just the two of us.

And nothing and no one could reach us there.

He really knew how to make my heart swell and I felt overwhelmed by all the feelings that were passing through my heart right at that moment.

The sun was setting and he levitated my bouquet into the castle by the meadow and we were staring at each other.

My heart was racing and I’m sure he could hear it.

“He’s going to kiss us” Delphyne almost squealed in victory in my mind, making me excited and nervous at the same time. I looked down, blushing fiercely.

I put her at the back of my mind. I definitely didn't need her distracting me.

He tilted my chin up with his fingers and we were looking at each other now. He pulled me closer and the orange and purple sunset highlights made him look even more gorgeous.

He was staring at my lips and I was doing the same at his luscious lips. I wanted to jump in his arms and kiss him until we started to take our clothes off, but I was paralyzed at the moment.

My eyes were fixed on his crystal blue eyes now and he was looking at every feature of my face and my lips until he licked his lips and I slightly moved, leaning towards him while he also leaned towards me.

Our faces were only a few inches apart from each other, I could feel his warm breath on my face and I finally closed my eyes.

I could feel our lips finally pressing against each other as Delphyne was purring like a kitty in my mind.

We kissed and it was so sweet, tender and it had so much love in it.

He nibbled my bottom lip and I parted my lips on its own accord.

He entered his tongue into my mouth and it felt even better.

I did the same to him and our tongues swirled together in such perfect synchrony.

He held me even closer and I could feel something big and hard grinding against me. I felt my desire burning for him and leaking in between my legs.

What, in the depths of the Underworld, is happening to me? I’ve never felt this way before.

I felt his hands moving from my face and sliding on my sides as our kiss got rough, it was raw and full of lust now.

I know he could smell my desire, he was my mate, but right at that moment, I didn’t even care.

All I knew was that I wanted him.

We parted our kiss and we were both panting. I opened my eyes and I felt giddy, our moment was perfect.

“You taste even better than I imagined.” He whispered to me, making my heart swell.

I cupped his face and just kissed him again.

It all felt so right.

We stayed for some time there enjoying each other and only when it was already evening, we made our way back inside the castle.

Werloth stopped his tracks and I did the same with a frowning face.

He looked concerned and hesitant but he glared at me and I could feel he was relaxing.

“Angeline, I know it’s too soon, but I wish you could sleep in my bedroom from now on”, Werloth suggested.

He sounded hesitant and my eyes opened wide in surprise.

“That sounds good. I’d love to sleep with him every night from now on.” Delphyne said.

I chuckled inwardly.

"Tell me about it. But I need to know what's on his mind. Is it because he's scared something might happen to me or because he wants to be close to me?" I replied.

I wanted to spend the rest of our eternity by his side and never leave him, that was for sure.

Especially after the precious moment we just shared with each other. It was so special. He made me feel truly loved and wanted.

But I also didn't want it for convenience.

I know we have been through a lot ever since I got here in the Elven Realm, but I'm a warrior and I know I'm not easy to kill, being a dragon and being a hybrid.

I want him to want me, to want to stay with me.

“Is this because of what happened?” I asked him.

“That’s one of the reasons, but that’s not all. I also want to feel you next to me. I want you to never leave my sight. You're all the peace I need in life”. He said, taking a few strands of hair off my face and tucking it behind my ear.

I blushed, looking down.

OK, Angel. Not now, don’t be a coward.

"I'll try to burn you from the inside myself if you give away this shot" Delphyne said.

I knew she was serious even though it was something impossible.

I glared at his beautiful gaze.

“OK. I will.” I whispered.

He smiled at me and wounded me in his embrace.

"I promise I'll behave", he said, before pressing his lips on my forehead.

"I really hope not", Delphyne said.

"Stop it already. I feel funny things in some funny areas that I'm not used to". I said and she laughed out loud.

Werloth parted and took my hand and we went into his bedroom. I noticed my bag was already there.

I picked up black leggings and a t-shirt. We'd still have dinner and I didn't want to walk around Werloth's castle wearing pajamas.

The thought of this situation made me chuckle inwardly, though.

"I'll take a shower", I told Werloth, and he pressed his lips against mine again.

"I'll wait for you here, my Angel. I have to talk to Balin anyway", he let me know and I nodded.

I entered the bathroom and all I could think of was my elf mate, his gaze and his kisses.

"Do you think we're going to mate today?" Delphyne asked, excited.

"I don't think so, Werloth is a gentleman and he wouldn't do it like that on our first night together", I told her and she sighed with a roar.

"Unfortunately, you're right. I just want to see how long you two are going to hang it there because I'm already out of my mind to mate that sexy elf king". She teased and I put her at the back of my mind.

I didn't need to hear those kinds of things right now.
