Alice POV:
Luke, Liam and I were at Werloth’s office.
He flashed after a few seconds.
“Hi. Welcome to the Elven Realm. I’m so glad you’re here today.” Werloth greeted us politely.
Liam patted his back.
“King Werloth, it’s good to be here” Liam said.
“It’s an honor” Luke also greeted him.
“I hope you received my letter”. I wanted to know. I was feeling so bad for Angeline.
He smiled at us.
“Sure, but please, follow me. You’re my friends, there’s no need for us to have this talk inside the office, let’s go eat something”, Werloth suggested, motioning for us to follow him. We all nodded.
We went to the castle’s dining room and we had a seat.
When we were comfortable, Werloth broke the silence.
“Alice, I received your letter. I will train Angeline myself. It’s the least I could do for my friends.” He said, and I felt a big smile forming on my face.
“Thank you so much, Werloth. This means a lot to us. You see, Angeline has wanted to do archery ever since we could remember. She took some lessons in the human realm but she didn’t enjoy it much, she wanted to be trained by an elf”, Liam told him, and Werloth opened his eyes in surprise.
“You should have told me before. I could have taught her” Werloth said, and I looked down.
I felt guilty.
“We just didn’t want to bother you. We knew you had the whole Elven Realm to rule”, I tried to reason.
“You’re my friends. Now please, I will guarantee all of you that she’ll be the best archer that ever existed” Werloth reassured us and I couldn’t hold back some tears of joy that were falling from my eyes.
“Thank you so much. I want you to know that she’s training our Bella today and she’ll make it here by evening.” I let him know and his eyes were glistening.
“You should wait to meet her before we go to sleep” Liam said, clearly concerned about something.
“My love, are you OK?” I asked him through mind-link.
“Yes, my Queen. I’m just worried about our Angel. She won’t be late, will she?” He asked me.
“I don’t think so. I hope not. They’ll meet tomorrow before the coronation, anyway”, I reassured him, holding his hand and trying to calm him down.
“What about you, Luke? What have you been doing?” Werloth asked him and Luke smiled at him excited.
“I’ve been training a lot with Aslam. He’ll be my second in command and we’re leading some warriors already”, Luke told him proudly.
“Luke, that’s wonderful. Aslam is a good man”
Werloth knew Aslam because he was the one who saved Aslam’s life when he was tied up and left to die by his own brother.
We never told the kids about it, they were too young.
We kept chatting until 20:45pm.
“I’m sorry, Werloth. I’m sure Angeline will be here by tomorrow morning. We'd better go rest now. You have a big day tomorrow”, I told Werloth, and he smiled at us.
But I noticed his disappointment.
“Sure, I’m sorry Melian didn’t show up. She’s been resting the whole afternoon for tomorrow”, Werloth apologized.
“It’s a woman's thing, I guess. You all have a wonderful night”, I told him, smiling.
We made our way back to our room and Balin, Werloth’s second in command, showed us our rooms and I sent our location to Angel.
He was a very strong elf, with long blonde hair and blue eyes.
Liam just put his head over his forehead in exhaustion.
I just hugged him.
“Dad, are you OK? Please, calm down”. Luke pleaded to him and he forced a smile.
“Sorry, son. You'd better go rest.”
Luke hugged his father and kissed my forehead and left.
Suddenly, a flash and we saw Angeline.
“I’m sorry I didn’t make it on time, mom and dad.” She apologized.

Angeline POV:
“Dea, can you help me do my hair, please?” I mind-linked my sister.
She's great at hair styling, she was so girly and I was running out of time.
“Yay, coming” she replied, almost singing it and in no time, she was there with all her hair stuff.
“Lucky you I just got home. I was out in the library in town and I stopped by the mall to buy some clothes. Do you want simple hair or sexy-hell-yeah hair? It’s the King so I go for the sexy-hell-yeah.” Andrea told me and I laughed so hard, I had the best family ever.
“I don’t know. Just do something to match with what I’m wearing”, I told her, still smiling.
“Angel, I hope you find your mate” Dea said, making Delphyne pace around in my mind.
She was already giving me a freaking headache ever since it was still morning.
“Goddess, Bella told me the same thing a few minutes ago”, I told my sister.
“I guess that’s a signal” Andrea winked at me.
“As long as it’s not the womanizer King Philip, it’s fine by me, I would accept even an Omega very willingly and lovingly as my fated one”, I told her as she was working on my hair and we both laughed.
“But we don’t remember any of them. Who knows, I bet they’re gorgeous and sexy. I barely remember King Philip’s face, just those violet eyes", she said and sighed. I frowned but I quickly shook it off, "…but you’re right, it would be hard living with someone that can’t be trusted”, she finished.
We laughed at each other again. My siblings were my best friends.
Luke was awesome as well. He was always so funny and caring. Besides, he's gorgeous.
All the women flirted with him, we were twins and the older ones. Bella was the funny, kinky and strong-minded one, Andrea was the girly, sweet and wise.
We were all waiting and saving ourselves for our fated mates, but surely, Bella was always the one telling us the naughty jokes.
She made a half updo and curled it, leaving loosen curls to fall on my body.
“Thank you so much, Dea, you saved my life”, I told my other sister and she smiled.
“You look stunning Angel, be careful or else the Elf King might cancel the coronation day for you” she said, praising and mocking me at the same time. She also had this talent. I chuckled while I rolled my eyes at her.
My heart was racing, Delphyne was pacing around inside my head, so I went to my drawer to grab my handky.
The handkerchief Werloth gave to me when I was born. I smiled on my own accord.
I finally flashed to the location my mom sent me about a few minutes ago.
It was mom’s and dad’s guest room.
“I’m sorry I didn’t make it on time, mom and dad.” I told them.
“Angel, where were you? You look stunning, princess, but I believe the King has already made his way to his room, it’s almost 9:00pm, you have to meet him by tomorrow morning, before the coronation, all right?” My dad asked me, before he kissed my cheek.
I sighed, I lost time unfortunately.
What the King might think of me?
“Where’s Luke?” I asked them.
“Already sleeping I guess” mom said, smiling.
What a lazy boy and he’s proud he’s going to be the King.
“Where’s my room?” I asked them.
“I’ll take you there, princess” my dad said and I shook my head.
I didn’t want to ruin their night. I'd already screwed up on the day I was supposed to meet the King and impress him so he could welcome me to his realm. It was definitely a bad start.
“No need, you can tell me and I’ll go there by myself” I told them. Mom nodded and they explained to me.
I made my way out of the door and I found myself in a very long hall with some doors.
OK, this is going to be harder than I thought.
I kept walking for some minutes and I think I got lost.
I couldn’t even remember where my parent’s room was located.
I saw a huge door and another hall when, all of a sudden, the most delicious scent was filling all over the place.
It was a pine and tonka bean scent, it was so good.
“Wow, this is the most delicious scent I’ve ever smelled”, I told Delphyne in my mind, but she was as dizzy as I was.
“We have to find where this delicious scent is coming from” she pleaded and I absently nodded.
I took a good look at the hall and it looked like the hall was outdoors, there were no more ceilings, just a trail and I could hear some watery noise, a stream maybe?
I knew I was lost but I couldn’t miss the chance to explore, my curiosity took over me as my heart was racing at the same time.
I took my handky to calm me down.
The place was very beautiful and different.
I was about to go my way to where the watery noise was coming from, when all of a sudden, a man with a towel-robe came out the door and I startled smelling the stronger scent of pine and tonka bean.
He was handsome, bright blonde mid-length hair, bright milky skin, blue eyes and I could see his hard chest.
He was strong and handsome. I was mesmerized and gawking at him a little bit too much but I couldn’t help it.
He looked back at me and he was startled, his face was showing me he was somewhat between in love and startled.
He was glaring at every inch of me and I blushed fiercely.
“Mate, he’s our mate, Angel.” Delphyne said in my mind, almost hopping, and I couldn’t believe he could look so fine.
I stared deeply into his eyes as he did the same to me.
“Mine” we both whispered in unison, glaring at each other.
I was about to say something when a beautiful long blonde-haired woman came out from the room behind him wearing a silk white nightgown and she looked at us in confusion.
“My King, are you OK? What’s wrong?” and I snapped out of the moment and Delphyne whined in pain and anger at the same time.
I couldn’t hold back a slight growl in my chest.
‘My King?’ I thought. Did he's her King? Better asked: Was he King Werloth?
I felt a sting in my heart as I felt some stray tears falling down my face and I just turned around and started to run like my life depended on it.
I had a mate. He was an Elf, but not any single and handsome elf. It happened he was King Werloth, the King of Elves, the one who was about to coronate someone else as his Queen.
I was running as the tears were blurring my vision until I bumped into another Elf with long blonde hair and blue eyes.
“I’m so sorry, are you OK? What’s your name?” He asked me while he chuckled.
“I’m sorry, I should have been the one looking where I was going. I’m Angeline Venctury, King Liam and Queen Alice’s daughter” I said as I slightly bowed and greeted him, holding my dress, trying to hold back my tears and sadness.
“Oh it’s nice to meet you. I’m Balin, King Werloth’s second in command. I’ll take you to your room, Princess Angeline.” He said, bowing down.
“Please, just Angeline is fine. There’s no need for formalities, I’m so sorry I’m late”, I told him, smiling, but deep inside my heart, I was still crying.
After the kind elf took me to my room, I threw myself on bed and sobbed like a kid.
It hurts, many things started to run through my mind.
“Calm down, Angel. I’m sure we’ll figure things out”, Delphyne told me.
“I don’t know, Delphyne. It’s her coronation day tomorrow, in a few hours actually. There’s nothing else to be done”. I told her. I was devastated.
Did he mate and marked her already?
I guess he didn’t mark her.
I wouldn’t recognize him as my mate anymore, right? Was he mating her at that time? Or now?
My heart was hurting so badly like someone had stabbed it with a dagger and was slowly twisting the dagger in my chest, it was the worst situation possible.
Venus was also whining in pain and it made me feel worse.
Did he even feel something? What is he going to do?
Every time my thoughts were finding some hope, my rational side reminded me that his chosen mate coronation day was tomorrow.
I knew I wasn’t going to sleep at all that night, I was in pain and I was hopeless.
Should I tell my parents? But they were probably sleeping already.
We had the kind of relationship that we could never hide anything from anyone in our family. I didn’t even know if I was ready to tell them if I could.
Many things were running through my mind.
I was seated on the edge of the bed when I heard a knock on the door.
I got up in a jolt and I stared at myself in the mirror and adjusted myself. I was looking nice again.
I sat on the edge of the bed.
I had no idea who could be that late at night.
“Come in” I said. I didn’t want anyone to know what I had just been through.
When the door opened, my eyes opened wide again as his pine and tonka bean scent filled the room.
