I looked down at Grey, laughing internally at myself for ever being scared of this man. He looked so small and pathetic right now. It isn't like he has changed in the last two days. He is still a horrible, vial, evil shell of a wolf... but now I wasn't fearful. I wasn't shaking internally as a shark circled around me with intent to kill. He was barking and trying to break free of his restraints, but I was not scared of him.
Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes, entering my mind space. 'You ready for this Ash?'
'I'm not sure,' Ash whispered softly. 'If I vanish...'
'You WON'T!' I growled in determination.
'Chase, I need to say this. If I vanish for some reason, tell Jason that I'm glad he was my mate. He lost Eric. I don't want him to think that I left him too.'
