Chapter 8 Ethan's Plan

I woke up around 8:30 am I started to think about yesterday and how I f****d up so badly. That I will never get the love of my life but if she finds someone else I will be happy for her. She is everything a man could wish for in a woman. An amazing cook, a bit nerdy on things she loves, clingy in the most adorable way, and let’s not forget she has a kind heart. I sure do hope the person who makes her happy treats her better than I ever did. She deserves the world; she is a queen in my eyes and in others. Even though I didn’t think I will ever find happiness. Wow I didn’t even realize I was crying. I will be happy if she is the one being happy without me. I decided that I will take my mom on a weekend trip without father knowing so I can tell her everything going on. I called my mom “hi baby how are you?” She says. “I'm a good mom, has dad left for work?” I asked her without trying not to say anything if my father is there. “Yes baby why?” She says. “I need you to tell him you are going on a girl trip but that it’s a surprise for you.” I say. “What why? Ethan what's going on?” She says worried. “Mom everything is fine eh well sort of but I need you to do that so I can tell you a few things about father.” I say. “Is it in the way he is acting right now to everyone.” She says in a concerned tone. “Yes mom please can you do that for me.” I say. “Yes baby, anything get your dad back to his regular ways.” She says. “I don’t think we can but we can always try. I have to go mom. Don’t forget girls' trips and you don’t know where they plan to take you.” I say. “Yes baby I got it.” She says hanging up.

I see the time it’s 8:30 I decided to call every single place I was going to take her today. By the time I finished it was 9:15 I started to think about what I was going to say to her. It is now 9:30 I decided to call her finally “Hi I wanted to say that I will no longer need your help with the house his wife just came by to pick out what she wants. Also I want to apologize for yesterday I know I’m not your boyfriend or father to be caring towards you. I also realized after you told me that there's nothing I can do to basically get you back. Like you said the damage is done you don’t trust me and I haven’t given you a reason to trust me. I decided to set you free. You are free to date whoever you want and be more happy than you ever were with me. Find someone who won’t break your heart or lie to you. You deserve so much more than a man who can't tell his father no. I will always love you but your happiness comes before mine. I wish you the best Arabella Mia Lumbardi.” I say hanging up. I didn’t want to hear tell me it isn’t my fault when it is. If I told my dad since the beginning that I didn’t want to then none of this would have happened. I decided to call Ama and tell her “I will be going away for a few days and that I will be leaving my phone here.” “Why all of sudden? Is there something wrong Ales?” She says. “No Ama I need a break from father.” I say it somewhat the truth. “Where are you going?” She says. “I can’t tell you that if father finds out where I am. He will come and make me go back home.” I say. “Since when do you call him father?” She says worried. “After I learned a few things about him that I hate.” I say. “Ethan what the f**k are you talking about?” She says getting mad. “I will tell you after I tell mom okay. I will tell you the whole truth about father. What he has been making me do for him.” I say. “So Arabella was right.” She says. “What are you talking about.” I say. “Yesterday when we were going to the club say tell me that you told her something about dad making you do things.” She says. “Oh yeah I forgot about that you know what we need a family meeting without father and without him finding out where we are. Let me text mom and tell her to bring Hanah with her. I have to go let me call our brothers and let them know what I’m going to do. I’ll get you the address later where we are going to meet.” I say hang up. I decided to call Zane first “Hey bro what’s up.” he says. “Are you at the office or at mom’s house or anywhere near father?” I say. “No to all the questions I’m on my bruch break. Why? Also why did you call dad father?” He asks me. “Of course you would be eating. Haven’t you noticed him acting weird and always being that room we aren’t allowed. I will explain that tomorrow with the rest of the family.” I say. “Now that you mention it, yeah why is he doing that?” he says. “I will explain tomorrow but you listen to me leave all of your electronics at your place and we will meet at my place. Then we will leave okay.” I say. “Yes I will do that. I’ll see you tomorrow.” he says hanging up. I decided to call Nolan and I hope Austin is with him. “Hey, how's the CEO?” he says. “I’m fine I could be better. By any chance is Austin with you.” I say. “Yeah why?” he says. “Put it on speaker please.” I say. “Yeah okay.” he says. “Hey big bro how are you?” Austin says. “I’m fine but I need you both to come to my place tomorrow okay. Also leave all your electronics at home both of you.” I say. “What for don’t get me wrong I want to see you but why all of sudden. Why?” Austin says. “Yeah what he said.” Nolan says. “Haven't noticed why father has been so closed off recently and how he goes to the room no one is allowed not even mom.” I say. “Please don’t tell me you went into the room” Nolan says he has always been a goody to shoes. “Maybe.” I say rubbing my neck. “Why Ales?” Nolan says. “I would see him in that room whenever I would visit. I found a few things but I will tell you tomorrow.” I say. “Yeah we will be there.” Nola and Austin say together. “I have to go. I will see you tomorrow.” I say hanging up. During the time I was calling my family I had 15 missed calls from Arabella. This is going to be hard. I texted my mom to bring Hanah with her and to come to my place before we leave. She replies with “okay your father has a meeting that is in New York so he won’t get back until Tuesday morning.” I also texted Ama to not tell anything to Arabella and that we are all meeting at my place. She replies with “okay I will see you tomorrow.” 

After everything I worked on a few projects that I didn’t finish yesterday. I ate some pasta with chicken and a salad. By the time I was done it was already night. I decided to work out then take a shower and go to sleep.
