Erandri POV
We were still running and Sky’s legs are about ready to give in.
“Our time is up,” Oades suddenly says and looks at Calla as they come to a halt in the middle of the beach. We have been running close to the ocean where the moon's light was the brightest. It was like Calla was feeding off of it. Like she was becoming weaker and weaker with every second that passed.
“You know we have to warn them, the power, the responsibility,” she breathed and closed her eyes, shaking her head. The resemblance between her and Iris was scary.
