Charlotte POV
“I know exactly who you are Princess!”
I bite into his shoulder and then suddenly he shapeshifts into a bear. I try to dart to the side and jump onto his back but he grabs my back legs and throws me. I land against a tree and as I feel something c***k it motivates me to think and not just act like my father taught me.
I jump to my feet and charge towards him and he quickly shifts back into his wolf form. We collide and I bite him in the shoulder and he only growls and throws me off. I’m on him in an instant again. I shift back into my human form and hold him in a choking position.
“I will kill you,” I say and then he goes still and suddenly shifts into a human form. I was never uncomfortable to be naked when I shifted, but not against a man who is fully clothed. I hold him acting like I didn’t feel uncomfortable, I was the one in control.
“No you won’t, not today Prinsess,”
He suddenly wraps his hands around mine and throws me over his shoulder and covers his body with mine.
The impact makes me lose my breath, but I still spit in his face. I’m about to shift again when suddenly something stings me and he lets go of me. I slowly take out the dart in my neck. I just stare at it for a moment and then I start seeing stars. One moment the Hybrid is looming over me, the next he’s suddenly wrapping a blanket around me and I feel weightless.
“Is that who I think it is! Where did you find her!”
“No it was a trick of magic,”
A popping sound and suddenly everyone is laughing.
“You fooled us for sure, I was about to kill you lad to get my hands on her,”
“Who is she then?”
“She’s my new wife, I had to steal her from the war camp just outside the GreenBow village, like you can see I still have to persuade her that I’m a great lover,”
“Well if it doesn’t work out I’ll pay you for a round with that body,”
“Don’t you f*****g even look at her!”
“Leave it alone Simon! Let’s go!”
Leaves are rustling and suddenly I’m being hosted up and then I’m falling again.
“How much did you give her?”
“Maybe like 5ml?”
“5? Are you insane!”
“I think you have to suck it out Greyson, now!”
“Stop me when you see the veins alright?”
“Yes we will,”
Suddenly the most excruciating pain hits in my neck and I scream. I don’t know if i’m even making a sound. The pain is replaced with a weird sensation, a type of euphoria and then I feel my body start to move.
“Greyson! Stop!”
“Simon help me, he’s losing control!”
Suddenly the sensation disappears and I close my eyes as the whole world fades to black.

“Princess?”
I open my eyes and find Simon staring down at me with a fearful look on his face. I try to move, but my hands are tied and my legs. I’m in a small room filled with candle light and walls that seem to be made of a type of leather. I stare down at myself realizing I’m wearing pajamas. What the hell!
“Where am I!” I shout and try to get my hands loose, but realize after a couple of moments of struggling nothing seems to be working.
“ANSWER ME SIMON! WHERE THE f**k AM I!”
“TISK TISK, I thought a princess wouldn’t have such a dirty mouth.”
My eyes dart to the door and then I recognize the hybrid. He’s wearing the same type of leather clothes as Simon, but his are black instead of green. His hair is short and a dark brown and he has a blue and green eye. His skin is darker than I thought and his fangs are gone.
I growl at him and know my eyes are glowing.
“f**k you! Let me go right now!”
“Or what?” he says and slowly makes his way towards my bed on the floor. I try to struggle away from him, but he sits down and grabs my legs holding me still.
“Be nicer boys!” Suddenly the most beautiful dark skinned woman with almost white eyes and red dreadlocks comes walking in. Her leathers are the same colour as her hair a maroon red.
“Who are you people!” I shout and try to kick the Hybrid, but he only smirks at me.
“All that you have to know is that we are not your enemy girl!” The woman says and I realize she has pointed ears. She was a fey.
“If you are not my enemy, why did you tie me up and take me from my home!”
The three of them share a look and only when the Hybrid nods the Fey’s eyes flickers back to me.
“Because we need your assistants with a mission,”
“We need your help, Princess and I promise you it’s for the good of the kingdom!”
“What do you mean for the good of the kingdom?!”
Suddenly the hybrid stands up and then I hear it too.
“The vampires are passing by again.”
I feel my heart beat start to quicken as I smell the flesh of the undead.
“They are only hunting,” Simon says as he places his hand on my shoulder, but I shrug it off.
“For the third time in two days? I don’t think so.”
The Hybrid places his finger on his lips and then a strange sound like some kind of animal fills our ears and then Simon and the Fey woman fall on their knees holding their ears. I can’t reach my ears to dim the horrific sound, but the Hybrid covers them for me and I’m surprised to see he is unaffected by the sound. I get a whiff of how he smells like whiskey and chocolate?
The sound stops and Simon and the Fey jump to their feet and dart out of the room.
The hybrid removes his hands and finally looks at me. He brushes one of my fallen curls from my forehead and I’m about to pull away when I feel pain coming from my neck.
“You bit me,” I whisper and his eyes flicker to my neck and then he is placing his hands on either side of my head and bows his head. I turn my head terrified, because I couldn’t escape even if I wanted to. He was a vampire too after all, I saw the fangs. He was going to kill me. I get ready for him to bite me, but only his tongue runs over my neck and I feel goosebumps cover my skin in an instant.
My skin starts to nit itself back together and I look at him shocked as he pulls away and stands up. He doesn’t look at me, but I could see his eyes were glowing.
“Get some rest,” he says and places his hands in his pockets and leaves the room.
