Aya turned to her side and groaned when she felt the other side of her bed empty. She slowly opened her eyes and see that it was indeed empty and there was no sign of Andres in her room. She perfectly remembers that she slept with Andres beside her last night.
Aside from that, she also remembered how her father slapped her after she announced that she is married, and how her grandfather is still adamant about marrying her off to some snobbish rich guy even if she is already married.
She lay on her back and looked at the ceiling. She wished that everything was just a dream and she will wake up to her mom knocking on her door to call her to breakfast.
And then she was pulled out of her thoughts when there was a continuous knocking on her door, making her sit up.
“Y-Yeah?” she responded
