The whole Hacienda Isabella is buzzing as the workers stared preparing for Don Marcel’s birthday Bayanihan foodfest. The foodfest falls on the day before Marcel’s birthday and every worker of Hacienda Isabella will be working together, cooking different dishes that they will later eat with everyone.
All ingredients are of course shouldered by the Enriquez family and everyone that helped with the celebration is also given incentives. The workers started preparing even before the rooster crow.
They have slaughtered three large pigs, two cows, three goats, and ten chickens. One pig and one cow will be roasted while the others will be used for different dishes. Tons of vegetables and fruits are also going to be used.
