Chapter 9

Braxton's P.O.V

For Henry to reach out I know there is something important or urgent.He is the only king I respect for they way he leads or should I say rules.When he took over the throne there was a lot of uprising and rebellion but he was able to supress all that with Patrick by his side.I like that general of his ,he is just like Wesley ruthless, loyal and above all brave.But there is something about that queen that I don't really like,she is one selfish woman if I have to be honest.I have met her once and immediately I knew she was as pure as she looked.

"They are recieving war threats from the eastern and the southern kingdoms"Wesley says distracting me from my thoughts "Ooh I see those vail creatures have finally grown a tail they are even forming alliances.The southern kingdom but be very stupid or dumb to ally with them..Witches never keep their words" I hate witches not only but every single vampire hates witches we are natural enemies."So what is he suggesting,, does he need our help?" I ask Wesley " Not particularly our help but yes he needs our help.We both know they will win the war but what he is worried about is the cost.What will be the price of the war,since the east and south are both planning to attack they will take the front that is most vulnerable and Henry fears that so many lives of the cizitens will be lost and a lot of property too he fears the victory will be paid in the most destructive way " Wesley continues.I know that if it were just one kingdom Henry would have easily won without cassualties but its two against one making the war unfair."He has sent Patrick together with other emisaries who will be arriving in three days to negotiate and initiate the alliance." Wesley says .

I have been thinking of going to Henry's kingdom for a long time and I think this is the right time. I have been having this unsettling feeling about that place and I just don't know why.It started with a dream years back.In the dream a voice keeps calling out to me but I can't really see the face of the person calling me and lately the dream has been becoming more vivid and just recently I woke up in the middle of the night and found myself in the borders of our kingdoms.I really want to know the reason behind all those dreams and me walking up there."Tell them not to bother coming,, we are going to them" I tell Wesley and he looks at me questioningly."

Well its been long since I left this place so this is the right time to leave I guess plus we will be hunting along the way and who knows maybe you will find that soulmate of yours to control your pants Wes" I tell him and he laughs." I really don't know if I want to find her I don't want to wake up and see the same face everyday I don't see the fun in that and besides who knows your sister might even cut off her head." he jokes and we laugh"maybe its you..."he says and then that voice cuts him off and he closes his eyes wishing to disappear."Brax you really are a bad brother you don't love at all I hate you"Stacy says as she smiles shyly looking at Wesley,,"you didn't tell me that Wes would be here" and she throws punches at me at me "Princess Stacy it is a pleasant suprise to see you" Wesley says as he bows to her and I hate it when he does that."You don't have to call me that I've told you to address me as Stacy severally Wes and you don't if you call me that again I will ask Brax to punish you.You guys were saying that I will someone's head off who is she?" she asks and I know its the right moment to throw Wesley right into the lions den,,"Wesley saw a pretty lady today and wanted to introduce me to her without your approval" Stacy goes rigid and Wesley sneaks out silently without a word and I laugh at him."so tell me princess what brings you here today or did you just come to see Wesley because too bad you have just sent him away" I tease her knowing what well what she came for."I heard you talking of going out and I want to go with you too brother its been over a decade since I step foot outside Nivana and I feel like I've explored every kingdom of this kingdom plus I have never been to Riverta and I hear thats where you are going" I know Stacy wants to go with us just to keep an eye on Wesley but I can't risk having her come along with us its too risky the weather is unpredictable plus the terrain would be hard for her to keep up with so I just refuse her.
