THE CATALYST

Round and round again the same story of love is told ,, but this one ruled with pain...... The Queen Alma had been married to King Henry for so long but they were not blessed with any children, the queen was a werewolf and the king a shifter a rare union for it was uncommon for a werewolf to be mated to other races thus the cause of not having children. As time went by the queen got desperate to have a child as being childless threatened het position.She had sought all possible concosions but still none worked until one day she decided to call out to a very powerful soccerer who used blood and dark magic. She knew the consequences were too heavy but her desire to have a child of her own had overpowered all thoughts.She was willing to pay any price to get what she wanted.So that night she sneaked out of the castle and summoned to socerer. " And for what reason do you seek me at this time of the night Alma" the socerer asked. " And what price are you willing to pay for it" ."Anything... I'll give you anything you ask for as you help me bear a child for the king" She answered "I see what you seek is not something easy but I will still grant it to you but you must promise that when the time comes you will give to me what I want" the socerer answered."I will give you anything" Alma said.The socerer then perfomed the rituals on her and with a wry smile she told the queen,remember there is a price to pay if you don't keep your end of the bargain then she let out a demonic laugh and disappeared just like she appeared and that night the queen went back and made love to the king as she was told.A few weeks later the imperial doctors announced she was pregnant.She held her belly and said softly to the baby,,, you have given me all I could desire for the king will never seek other women to bear children for him.
