Henry's P.O.V

I'm pacing back and forth Alma's chambers, the labour came late she was expectant for 12 months which was odd.It made me recall that night when she came to my chambers I was tired from the council meeting I had that day but I couldn't resist her. She was my soulmate after all the minute she walked in I forgot every other thing and walked to her.She looked like she had been crying and my heart ached because I knew the reason why she was sad.We had been married for long and still we had no children,the council had been pressuring me to reject her or find other concubines to produce a heir for the throne.Thought of having another woman bear children for me tore her apart and also threatened her position as queen so when she came in the only thought that came to me was to make love to her and try give her a child.There was something different about her that night something out of place and something dark around her that I couldn't place my hand on. "congratulations your highness we are blessed with a beautiful princess" the imperial doctor says taking me away from my thoughts.I rush in and find Alma carrying our baby in her arms smiling.I look at the baby and hold her in my arms and all the uncertain thoughts are forgotten.Ava,, her name is Ava I say and Alma smiles nodding.She suddenly opens her eyes and everything goes dark and I freeze on the spot. Moments later everything goes back to normal and I find her sleeping in my arms again.I see fear in the eyes of everyone in the room and when I look at Alma I see panic in her eyes."Not a word of what happened in this room should be heard outside this walls". I compell them and they bow their heads in submission and they forget what happened except for Alma as my powers can't work on her.Everyone leaves and I turn to her and she cowers away in fear and guilt. Do you have a proper explanation for this because this is beyond supernatural Alma.Give me something I can work on Alma."Say something damn it!" I shout at her and she breaks down hysterically.

"I had no choice,I was desperate to give you a heir to the the throne, you no longer looked at me with love,you were disgusted at me and you were willing to have another woman bear you children so I had to seek help from wherever I could to get a child and I don't regret it"She shouts back at me and I walk out of the room leaving her crying.
