 buoyant thoughts hovering over your head like the fog on a winter morning, they're screaming out my name and telling me to hold on for a little longer. However we both know we have to let go, you're walking further and further away from me and crumbling my heart as you take more steps towards the closing gate. Everything around us stops when you turn around with teary eyes and your lips form a crooked smile as they close the door.

I'm standing numb, with tears immensely flowing down my cheeks. He's gone and I may never see him again, that struck me like a thousand lightning through my body. The one person who matter the most to me is now only present in my memories, I think his mother is trying to say something but can't really tell what, from all the shattering noise of my heart overpowering everything else.
