"Please forgive my son, Jero, and Lisa," she asked for forgiveness.

"Wait, how? What happened? And you said 'we,' does that mean there are others with us? Who?" I curiously asked.

"We still have someone with us," he replied. "She's right there." He pointed to the mirror on the dressing table.

I looked at it, but I couldn't see anyone in there.

"There's no one there," I said, puzzled.

"Dear Queen, you may come out now," he said.

To my surprise, a beautiful woman stepped out of the mirror in the dressing table.

She was stunning. She had long golden hair, golden eyes, a perfectly shaped nose, and kissable lips.

How did she come out of there?

"Hi, nice to meet you, Lisa, right?" she greeted me.

I nodded in response.

"I'm Queen Alexandra Moon. Just call me Xandra," she introduced herself.

"Hi," I replied, still in disbelief about what had just happened.

"You still can't believe it, huh? You entered through the mirror," my inner voice said sarcastically.

This is incredible!

"Lisa," she called my name.

"Yes, what is it, Queen Xandra?" I asked.

"Don't call me Queen. Just call me Xandra. Anyway, are you okay? Why do you have a bruise on your cheek?" she inquired.

"Oh, I just noticed it now. Who did this?" Jero asked angrily as he touched my cheek gently.

"Ouch," I winced.

"Tsk, Jin has gone too far," Jero muttered, clearly annoyed.

"Please forgive my son, Jero, and Lisa," she asked for forgiveness.

"How did he become your son with such behavior, like a demon?" I blurted out without thinking. When I realized what I had said, I quickly added, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay. I understand," she replied. "Let's not talk about it now. Let's treat that bruise first."

"Alright."

They started treating my bruised cheek. While they did, they began sharing their stories. Jero had the power to create various objects, while Queen Alexandra possessed the power of moonlight, allowing her to create any shape of yellow light, which they used to make weapons. They didn't have a choice but to help the Dark Shadow Empire, as they couldn't defeat the Dark Shadow with their powers. I also learned that this place was called the Moonlight Empire because it was ruled by the Moon family, with Queen Alexandra being the fifth queen in her line.

After treating my bruise, they began to tell me more about their situation.

"Where should I start?" Xandra began. "It all happened like this. We slowly started to remember things as the years passed while we were here. We could recall our names and more. I remember one day we were attacked, and their someone in labor at the time, but I can't recall who the woman was. After that, Their a man who wanted to kill me. Unfortunately, he was too strong, and I almost died then, but King Eujin saved me. However, he died because of it. At that moment, we were also about to be killed when the leader of the Dark Shadow Empire spoke. He needed us, so he cursed us and imprisoned us here. "

"I see. If there's any way I can help, please let me know."

"There is one way," Xandra said. "I don't know why, but I'm certain that you didn't come here for no reason."

"First, tell us why you're here. What's your connection to Jin? How did you come here, and it seems like you resemble someone?" she inquired.

"I'll explain one by one," I replied. "First, I have no powers, I'm not from here, and I ended up here through a magical mirror. Many people have said I look like Melissa, and I believe Jin loved her. That's why I ended up here."

I nodded.

They had a magic bucket that produced food, and we began eating. After that, we rested and slept.

The next day, we were still in the same room. They were concerned about who Melissa might be. I shared everything I knew about her.

"I'm fine," he replied.

It struck me that Tita Elsa had mentioned Jin, Jero, and Melissa in her story. Could it be that Jero didn't actually die but was cursed?

I wanted to ask Jero about it when we suddenly heard footsteps approaching. It must be Jin.

"We need to leave now. Do what we discussed yesterday. Good luck," Xandra said to me.

"Wait, I…" I didn't get to finish my sentence before they vanished. I didn't want Jin to know they were here; he would probably lock them up too.
