Chapter 4

"We're here, Lisa. WELCOME TO MOONLIGHT EMPIRE," he greeted me enthusiastically. "Wow! It's beautiful here. From their castle to the small houses. There are also many people here." "Lisa, come on, let's go to our house so we can rest," he said. "Okay," I replied. We began to walk. While we were walking, I saw many people using various powers to practice, and there were children playing. I also noticed various shops here, selling things like food, household items, and more. "We're here," he said. I looked at his house. It was simple, much like the one I was staying in. "Come in," he added. We entered. "Aunt Elsa, Lisa's here," he announced. "Oh, you're here already, Jet," said the beautiful woman. She's quite beautiful.. She had a straight nose, blue eyes, and white hair. She really looked like Elsa from Frozen, kidding aside. She turned to me. "Oh, you have a visitor. What's your name, dear?" she asked. "Wait, you look familiar, are you Melissa?" "No, I'm not. I'm Lisa." She looked at me in amazement. Why though? "You really look like her. Anyway, my name is Elsa, just call me Aunt Elsa." "Yes, ma'am." "Jet told me you're from a world called Earth, where Melissa came from," Jet explained to Aunt Elsa. "What? You came from there? That's surprising," she asked me. I nodded. "Let's sit down." We both sat on the sofa while Jet leaned against the wall, listening. I thought he was going to explain everything to me, but it seems Aunt Elsa wants to hear my story. "Tell us. How did you end up here?" she inquired. "I don't know how I ended up here, to be honest. All I remember is touching the diamond above the mirror," I explained at length. "Um, it sounds similar to Melissa's story," she said while pondering. "So, that's all you remember?" "Yes," I replied. She sighed. "Is that so," she said. "I'll tell you about what I know in this place since I'm the oldest here." "Wait, Aunt Elsa, how old are you?" I asked. "176," she answered. "What?? You look like you're only 25!" I exclaimed in surprise. She chuckled. "I'll just tell you why all of this happened." "Okay." ... .. . This world is called Moravia Land, with two continents known as Moonlight Empire and Dark Shadow Empire. The people here were blessed by the gods, so their faces never age, even as they grow older. Many wars have occurred between the two empires, driven by the Dark Shadow Empire's desire for power and dominance. There was bloodshed and loss of life, but everything changed when Melissa and Jero arrived to help end the war. Melissa, Jero, and Prince Jin, the son of King Ujin and Queen Alexandra, were close friends and led the effort to defeat the Dark Shadow Empire, ultimately causing its downfall. As they spent time together, a love triangle developed among them. Jin fell in love with Melissa, but Melissa loved Jero, and Jero reciprocated her feelings. Jin eventually discovered this and contemplated killing his friend Jero to claim Melissa for himself, but he didn't follow through with that dark plan. Instead, he watched from afar, tears in his eyes. "It hurts so much to know that the one you love doesn't love you back," he thought. When Melissa gave birth, that's when Jin killed Jero in an attempt to have Melissa all to himself. However, Melissa managed to escape with her child and returned to their world. "I don't know what happened to the prince anymore. But as far as I know, he joined the dark shadow." "I can't believe the trials they went through," I said. "Sigh, I hope this war will end soon," Aunt Elsa added. After our conversation, we had a meal. I also learned that Aunt Elsa was Jet's adoptive mother after his own mother passed away, and they kindly offered me refuge here since I had nowhere else to go. ... .. . I've been here for three weeks now, but I still don't know how to get back home. "Lisa, are you done?" Jet shouted from the living room. I was cooking at the moment. Since I didn't have a job here, I helped with household chores. "Just a moment, almost done," I shouted back. When I finished, I placed the food on the table and sat down. Jet began to eat. "Jet, where's Aunt Elsa?" I asked him. "Shhe's ove thereeee," he mumbled with food in his mouth. "Jet, finish what's in your mouth first," I told him. He chewed his food and took a sip of water. "Your cooking is so delicious, the best," he said, giving me a thumbs-up. "I don't know about that," I teased. "Hahaha, pretending, but I made you blush," he teased me. "Up to you," I replied and left. I walked toward the Moon Garden. It's incredibly beautiful here. The breeze is so peaceful. I saw a black butterfly. Why is there a black butterfly here? Out of curiosity, I followed it. I ended up in a dark part of the Moonlight Empire's castle. As I was walking, a man suddenly appeared. He was the one who chased me when I first came here. "You?" "Well, well, well, look at destiny bringing us together again for your demise," he said with a mocking tone. I looked around. We were the only ones here. How could I escape? "Are you scared now? It's just a brief moment," he said as he played with fire in his palm. "Please, just let me go," I begged. "Go ahead, beg all you want. I enjoy seeing you like this, Melissa," he said. Melissa, again. "I'm not Melissa, please release me." "Tsk, you can't fool me. Any last words?" "Please." I was grazed by fire on my arm. He continued to throw fire, and I managed to dodge most of it. I couldn't take it anymore; I was getting weaker. He was about to throw fire again when suddenly, another man appeared and killed him. Who is he? He approached me. I couldn't see his face clearly as my vision blurred, and I lost consciousness.
