Sin's Underlying Truth
Put yourself before anyone and one cannot go wrong. If a person have a handle on inner love, they can then give that same welcoming to another individual. Knowing who you are never counts as a strike. Swing that bat as Sin Cooper allow all to view his life which isn't a walk in the park. More than a passive feeling, early on wanting to be a female became active. Family may not agree with what Sin stand for but he does. So eager to volunteer at l***q safe havens for homeless youth became first nature. Teens are going through the same motions, having little support from their relatives. Everyone should be inspired to perform their best at whatever they choose. Cooper goes by the name Serenade, despite disapproval from aunts. Already starting transition, there are more no's being tossed around than free-fall encouragement. 'I have to live for me', says Sin. Blowing up at a family reunion seemed to be the only way to get the message across. Aside from that, it appeared no one would listen so Serenade put it on blast. Aunt Shelly chimes in by stating, 'the lord made man for woman and vice versa; you are committing a wrongdoing that is unforgiving according to the bible'. 'Well I have my own personal beliefs just like the naysayers', responded Sin. How can a woman criticize her kin when she's known as an habitual liar. Two wrongs still don't make it right. According to Genesis 2:24, a man shall leave his parents and hold fast to his spouse and they shall become flesh of one. People are suppose to love whomever they choose which give room for societal difference. Varying factor exist within the word denial. So many want to engage but worried about what the next person have to say. It has been a longtime since Sin felt happy. His grandmother once instilled in him that sometimes happiness come with a price. Some will respect your wishes and others won't. On a showery day, Sin hears a reading at New Life Church, where a preacher states: 'love thy neighbor despite your own personal beliefs'. There is truth in every message of scripture, one just have to find it. Sin silently thinks to himself: Folks may criticize the way I presume but last time I checked no person is perfect. Shelly just had to escort Sin to church even though she dislikes his way of living. The upbringing of the two differed greatly. Shelly grew up in a strict baptist home, as Sin parents didn't force him to go to church services at all. Going to hear the word on Easter Sunday was the only time he showed up. Sin Serenade Cooper was accustom to writing blog posts on how to love self unconditionally, while finding the underlying truth within biblical guidelines. Blogging went from a hobby into a career with the reflection posting of 1 Peter 4:8 sacred text which reads: above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Man is not the creator, therefore has no power of one's sole decision making. When the doors of accepting self begin to open, all hell starts to break loose. People want you to sway in their direction. One can't expect a person to follow their wishes when they can't even lead own life, now what kind of sense does that make. Sin mumbles to aunt: 'I rather acknowledge who I am then to have nothing at all'. Shelly look at him with an expression of disgust. Guess you'll have to take up that battle with Jesus Christ, I'm done talking. Serenade writes a web log announcing recovery from being a lost soul to a newly found genderqueer woman. Always a good sweet person, it really shouldn't change the way people see Sin but it does. Those opposing lifestyle should take a closer look at themselves. It takes power to fight the truth from within. Aunt Shelly thinks Sin is not ready to embody that change. Life altering is a choice not an enforcement. Scripture reveals in Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you choose to go".
