Episode - 11

you are holding your book in wrong way - saying so, he turned the book in my hands. 

uggh.... it's so embarrassing. 

I closed the book and put it on the table. I looked at him and saw him trying to hide his smile while biting his lips with his teeth. 

why are you smiling? - I asked throwing a glare at him. 

you know what, you look so cute when you get angry. - he said pinching my cheeks. I swatted his hands away and glared hardly at him. 

I looked in his eyes and saw nothing else other than the mischief.

I looked away and tried to concentrate on the lecture but I think, I can't especially, when this bloodsucker is sitting beside me with a stupid grin on his face. 

hey. - he called me poking my arm with his finger. I gave him a death glare to shut his dirty mouth. I swear, only if looks could kill, he would be six feet under the ground by now. 

he slide a notebook towards me. his smile is gone and I can see he's a little nervous.

I am so intelligent. Am I not? no need to praise now. 

I opened it and saw a note inside it. I took it and read it - 

I want to show you something. come with me in lunch time, today. 

I crumpled the paper and about to throw it away but stopped when I heard Ash's words.

did you forget what we decide yesterday? let him believe that we trust him. - Ash said reminding me her words from yesterday. 

right. even Ash will know today who he is. 

I kept that note in my bag and wrote -

okay. 

on another note and keeping it in his notebook. I slide it towards him. he read it and I can see a big smile forming on his face showing his perfect teeth. 

I can't help but smile looking at him. he looks so cute, just like a kid when he smiles freely. 

after a while, the bell rang indicating that the lecture is over. 

Mr. Patrick collected his stuff and walked out of the classroom not before wishing a 'good day' to the class. students ran out of the classroom. I too got up from my seat and started collecting my books and notes. 

I will wait for you in library. don't get late. - Darrick said slowly in my ear with his lips brushing my earlobe. 

control yourself, you stupid girl. control your jumping hormones. 

then, he ran out of the classroom leaving me all flushed. 

I went for my next class but not before messaging my g**g that I won't be there for lunch today. 

I don't know what he want to show me. he isn't planning having my blood for lunch. Is he? - I gulped hard as I imagined myself being served in his plate. 

I shook all the stupid thoughts away. I am not some weak person. I am strong enough to fight. if I can defeat 10 wolves at a time, then, who is this bloodsucker. 

those ten wolves weren't your mate but he is. - Ash said in my mind. 

she's right. it's really going to be difficult to fight him, to hurt him. 

In the lunch time - 

after my last class, I directly went to the library to meet him. when I reached there, I saw him waiting for me at the door. 

you are two minutes late. - he said showing me his expensive watch which was tied on his right hand.

actually... - I started but he cut me off in the middle. 

leave all that. we don't have much time. let's go. - saying so, he held my hand and started dragging me, walking fast like we have to catch a train. 

huh? 

when we were out of the school premises, he practically started running, no, not in his vampire speed. soon he stopped with a jerk making me fall forward. what he is actually, some vehicle or what? 

then, he looked around and when he saw that our coast is clear, means there were no humans, watching us. he picked me up in his arms in bridal style.  

I looked at him with wide eyes and hit his shoulder with my tiny fists. 

hey, put me down. I can walk on my four legs. - I said shouting at him probably making his ears bleed but who cares. 

four legs? - he chuckled at me with his eyes dancing in amusement. 

I already said that we don't have much time. so, I am taking you. - Saying so, he started running into woods and I must say that he's the fastest vampire, I've ever seen. 

he was running passing the big trees with the speed of whirlwind. 

my god! this boy!

and then, he started climbing the trees from one to another like a monkey. 

hold me tight, baby. because if you fall from here, then, your bones will definitely broke into small- small pieces. - he said showing me the height from this giant tree.

I looked at it and saw that we're quite high from the ground. if I fall from here in my human form, I will be broken into pieces for sure. 

I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck and my legs around his torso squeezing the life out of him. my breasts pressing more into his hard chest. 

sweetheart, I swear, if you come any closer, then, we both will fall on the ground together. - Darrick whispered huskily in my ear kissing my earlobe. 

I can feel my cheeks heating up at his comment. I slapped his shoulder making a face at him. 

Come on, I know you are enjoying it. - he said winking at me. I am sure, now I am looking like a red tomato. 

he again started climbing the trees, jumping from one tree to another, making my grip tighter on him.

after what felt like eternity, we came to a clearing. I was still holding him tightly. 

we have reached. so, now you can leave me, sweetheart. - he said with a chuckle. I immediately left him and stood up on my feet straightening my clothes. 

Look there, beautiful. - Darrick said pointing his finger towards my left side. I moved my gaze in the direction of his finger and  the view just left me in daze. it was just beyond amazing. 

there was a beautiful lake of pure water. A pair of swan was there in the lake. wow, so beautiful. I can even see a waterfall of milky water there. I can see the flowers on the other side of lake and butterflies wandering over there. 

did you like it? - Darrick asked breaking my perfect admiring session. 

it's really beautiful. just so damn amazing. - I said still looking at the view in front of him. 

I knew it. I, so knew it that you will definitely like it. - he come in front of me and smiled widely showing his perfect teeth. 

now, this view is much more amazing than the previous one. 

come. - he said holding my hand and guided me towards the lake. 

we sat on the edge dipping our feet in the cold water of lake. it's so relaxing. 

here. - he said forwarding a chocolate towards me. I took it because I was really very hungry. 

I started devouring my chocolate closing my eyes and moaned out as the chocolate melted in my mouth. 

when I opened my eyes, I saw him staring at me with a strange expression. 

what? - I asked raising my brow at him. 

nothing. - he whispered while shaking his head with a smile. 

no, tell me. why are you smiling?  - I asked nudging him with my hands wiping the chocolate which was on my hands with his shirt. 

it's just you looks so cute while enjoying your food. - he said looking into my eyes. 

cute, seriously? I ate while ruining all my clothes and face. do you find it cute? it feels yuck! - I said seriously eating my chocolate again. I am not very sophisticated who eats with 36 types of spoons, forks and knives. hell, I don't even know how to use them. I eat like a kid ruining my face, hands and clothes in process. it sounds dirty. it can make you puke too. how can someone found such thing cute? 

everything about you is just amazing. I don't find it dirty at all. you're just wonderful. - he said wiping my face with his sleeves and keeping the chocolate wrapper in his jeans pocket. 

I swear, my heart just melted at his words and action. the way he wiped my face with his sleeves, oh moon goddess, I fell for his action. I was dumbstruck. 

tell me about yourself. - he said bringing me out of trance. 

well, there is nothing much, you know. - I said fidgeting with my fingers in nervousness. 

okay, who was that guy, who raised his hand on me? - he asked looking in my eyes after a pause.

oh, he's my little brother, Karl. - I answered him honestly. 

hmm. he is an overprotective brother. - he commented with a smile. 

and that girl, who keep stick to him, who is she? - he asked after a pause. 

oh, that, she's Sarah. his mate and Mark's sister. Mark, you know the other guy. - I said but he cut me off in the middle. 

mate? what's a mate? - he asked completely confused. 

mate means soulmate, umm... life partner, you know. - I answered moving my legs in the water. 

hmmm.  how do he know that she's his life partner? - he asked with his eyebrows furrowed together  in confusion. 

actually, we transform at the age of 15 and got our wolves. after that time, we will be able to find our mate. we feel attraction towards that person and our mate's smell makes us go crazy. in this process, our wolf help us a lot. - I tried to explain him as much as I could. 

oh, okay. so, did you find your mate? - he asked looking in my eyes with some hope. 

I heaved a long sigh and then, answered him. 

yes. I found him. - I said looking at him directly in his golden brown eyes  but he moved his gaze away.

what about you? - I asked him with excitement. 

I think, we should leave now. - he said suddenly getting up from the ground but I held his hand.

we just came here, let's talk some more, please. I like it being here. - I pleaded him giving my best puppy face look. 

I heaved a long sigh and then said okay. 

saying so, he sat down beside me keeping a little bit distance between us. 

what happened suddenly? he isn't even smiling. Is everything alright? 

I filled some water in the scoop of my fingers and threw it at him. 

hey, where are you lost? - I asked him with a big smile on my face. 

he gave me forced smile and answered - nowhere.

okay. so, tell me something about you and your friends. - I said playing with the cold water. 

well, I am a vampire, as you already know. I am 129 years old. I was 15 when I become a vampire and in 129 years, I aged very slowly. I look like 18 years old now. - he said and took a pause and then, continued. 

well, about others, The guy who punched your brother that day, the one with brown hairs and dark brown eyes, is my younger brother, Talon von stein. he's an amazing vampire. the girl with us, is Ambrosia. we call her Amber. she's like a sister to me. she is amazing too and then, the other boy, with orange hairs, is     Athan. he's in relationship with Amber. Amber and Athan are a a perfect couple. we're the Mr. and Mrs. von stein's adopted kids. - he finished describing about his family. 

what about Mr. and Mrs. Von stein? - I asked curiously looking at him. 

well, they are nice couple and amazing parents. it's enough for today. let's leave, now. - he said getting frustrated now. 

why are you behaving like this? let's sit some more with me, please. see, it's so beautiful here. - I said pointing at the view in front of me. 

okay then, you enjoy the view here. I am going back. - saying so, he started leaving. 

I ran behind him. I definitely don't want to be left alone. I want to spend time with him but I don't know what happened to him suddenly. 

he's back to his arrogant self.
