Episode - 3

Darrick's POV - 

Is it possible that I could fail to read someone's thoughts. - I asked him directly without wasting his time. 

NO. it's not possible until that 'someone' is much stronger than you. - He said glancing at me and then, again immersed in the the pool of paper work. 

hmmm..... I am thirsty for the blood. - I said playing with the paper weight that was kept on the table.

why are you telling me? go and hunt. who's stopping you? - he said with a little bit frustration. 

I see, work is taking its toll on him. 

I am thirsty for someone special's blood. - I said emphasizing on the word 'someone special'.

he left his work immediately and looked directly into my eyes. so, I continued - 

In all these years, I thought that I have controlled my blood thirst successfully but today, It all proved wrong. - I said remembering the first time when I took her fragrance. the beautiful fragrance of red wild roses. 

hmmm... amazing that was.

what happened today? - he asked me bringing me back in the present time. 

the fragrance of her blood was just so fresh and amazing that I had to stop my breathing to control myself. - I said remembering that moment when I so badly wanted to taste her blood. 

hmmm.... you should stay away from her. - he said grabbing a red file in his hand. 

what? Are you serious? - I asked completely shocked. 

here, I am telling him that I want her blood and there he's advising me to stay away from her.

It's for your own betterment. - he said in his calm voice. 

But I can't control myself around her. My own body betray me when I am near her. she's different, something very different. - I said to him with so much need and hunger in my voice. 

hmm..... but careful. we're in the human world. - he said with a warning. 

I am not a new born, you know and It's not the first time that I am hunting. - I said with my signature smirk.

I know that but this place is dangerous. we're not the only one here with the humans. there are other supernatural creatures too. - He said what I already know. 

hmmm..... I will be careful. you don't worry. - I said standing up from the chair and turned to go back. 

where are you going? come here and help me. - he said no more like ordered me. 

no way. never gonna happen. I am not going to do this s**t. you handle it yourself - saying so, I ran out of the room in very fast speed. 

Being a vampire has its own benefits. 

Next day - 

Liliana's POV - 

I am now running in the forest in my wolf form because Ash wanted to run. it's been more than two weeks since she seen forest and  felt the air against her white furry body. 

Ash is really a beautiful wolf with white furs and silver eyes. she is as big as my dad's wolf. her voice is really scary when she gets angry. everything about her screams power and beauty. 

on the other hand, I am just a simple girl with blonde hairs and big ocean blue eyes which I got from my dad. there is nothing special about me except one thing that my wolf is Ash who is powerful and strong. 

suddenly Ash stopped when her gaze fell on the pool of a mud. I know, what's going through her pretty head. 

No Ash. - I screamed at the top of my lungs in her head but that stupid wolf just jumped into mud. 

God, she's really an animal. what to do now? 

she started playing in the mud turning the sides in that dirty pool making her beautiful furs dirty but she's enjoying it. I can see. 

just come out of this dirty thing. - I said in the back of her head. 

no. I wanna enjoy. it's so early in the morning. we have a lot of time to reach home. - she said closing her eyes enjoying the feeling of the mud against her furry skin. 

Ash, what if dad finds out that we're missing? - I warned her about the consequences.

we will tell him that we were out. why am I not allowed to go outside alone? It's bad. I can protect myself. I can protect us. - she said with sadness.

I know, Ash. you're very strong and brave but if dad don't want us to come outside alone. then, we shouldn't. - I said trying to make her understand.

hmm. but I am tired of being surrounded with peoples always. even if I have to go for a walk, I have to go with Karl And Mark. I know, you can't do anything in it but please just let me enjoy for some more time. - she said more like pleaded. 

Okay if you say so. - I said finally tired. she's right, she too deserve some happiness. 

after that, she closed her eyes feeling the mud and the sun rays both on her body. I just sat in the back of her head. feeling happy that my wolf is happy. 

Ash's POV - 

I was just lying in the mud when suddenly I heard a twig snap. I quickly stood up on my all fours and saw someone running around the forest. so, I followed the person. it's a male vampire. no one can run this much fast. he's a very fast vampire. I increased my speed but still he's running fast. so, I first jumped on a tree and then, on his head, making his pretty a*s hit the floor. 

Mate. - I let out a low growl. it's the same scent, that our mate has and when he looked at me with his golden brown eyes, my doubt was confirmed. 

I put my snout in his neck, l*****g his neck a little with my big tongue but what happens next left me speechless. 

he f*****g pushed me with his right hand and since I didn't expect it, I flew back into the air and my body hit the large tree. I fell down on the ground with a thud. 

shit! - I cursed inside my head.

Go, kiss him, lick him again. mate, mate, mate. huh? bullshit. - lily screamed in the back of my head. 

she's making fun of me. huh?

I thought that you will ask me if I am hurt anywhere? - I said with a little bit disappointment. 

I know, you're not. - she answered with the same attitude. 

I blocked her out and looked around to search for the mate but I didn't found him anywhere. 

it seems like he ran away when I was talking to Liliana. 

I heaved a long sigh and started running towards the palace. 

can this day get any worse?

I jumped in my room through the window and walked into shower after opening the handle of the door with the help of my mouth. I gave control back to Lily and instantly shifted to my human form. 

she took shower and washed off the dirt and mud from the body. it took a while since it's quite dirty. I really did a good job while playing in that mud pond. 

after a while, she walked out and wore the clothes. 

Lily's POV - 

Lily. Liliana James smith. -  I heard my mom calling name. no, she's shouting actually. 

I walked out of the closet to find out why she's shouting like this.

Yes Mom. - I said standing in front of her. 

what's this? - she asked pointing at the marble floor. I looked down where she's pointing. 

Damn it. 

how can I forget it? 

there are the mud prints of Ash's paw. the floor is dirty with mud. 

now what to do? 

will you answer, princess Liliana? - she asked with her glowing yellow again and again. I know, she's fighting with her wolf for the control.

umm...... actually, Ash wanted to go out for the run. - I said looking down in the respect. 

you could have ask me before going out. I would send Mark with you. - she said in somewhat calm voice.

don't you trust me, Mom? I can protect myself and others too. - My voice came out with Ash's voice. 

she's hurt and sad. I can feel it.

I trust you completely but you're would be queen of this kingdom. - she said with worry. 

exactly, I am the future queen of this kingdom and if I can't protect myself, how will I protect the whole kingdom? - I said trying to make her understand.

prove it then. prove it that you're strong enough to fight. - she said with determination looking directly into my eyes.

Fine then. I will prove it that I am the best. - I said with more determination in my voice. 

good. that's what I expected. - she said while patting my back and walked out of the room. 

I fell down in my bed. it was really tiring. 

get up, you lazy a*s. it's time for the practice. - screamed Ash in my head.

I am tired. I just wanna sleep. - I said whining a little. 

you have to prove yourself. did you forget what you just said to Mom? - she said trying to make me leave the bed. 

we will prove it later but now I wanna sleep. - I said and closed my eyes but before sleep can engulf me in her arms, Ash took the control of my body and threw me out of the room. 

go now and practice with other wolves. - she ordered me. 

I did as I was told because I am left with no choice. I am telling you one day I will kill this wolf with my own hands. 

don't forget that we're the same person. - mimicked Ash inside my head.

uggh.................

I went out in the woods to the training area. I saw Mark's dad Erick was teaching all of them. I went towards him. he immediately turned his head to me.

what brought you here today, Princess? - he asked with a little bit shock. 

I too want to learn. - I replied. 

want to learn what? - He asked raising his brow.

whatever you're teaching. - I answered in 'duh' tone. 

now let's start. - I ordered my teacher aka Erick. Isn't it cool? 

shut up lily. focus. - shouted Ash in my mind. 

god! why she's always behind me? 

Okay princess...... - Erick started but I cut him off in the middle. 

Lily, it's lily for you. You're my teacher, Mr. Erick. - I said trying to make him understand. 

he nodded his head.

Okay then, let's teach you today how to throw a punch. - he said showing me his fist. 

I did as I was told and It's been two hours since I am trying to throw a perfect punch on Erick's jaw but I failed every time and Ash isn't helping either. 

hmmm... we will continue it tomorrow. You have school to attend, lily. - he said with a little smile on his face. 

okay sir. - I saluted him and walked to the palace. 

trust me, I am really tired and I just want to do one thing right now that is to hug my bed and sleep like a dead person but guess what I have to attend school too. 

uggh...............

but it seems like Ash is very happy at the thought of going school. 

Of course I am. mate will be there. - ash screamed jumping up and down in my head.

seems like princess forget the morning incident. - I said trying to tease her.

well, that was really fun. watching you flying in the air. - I said teasing her again and then, I started laughing. 

you know, we're the same person. - she said and laugh just died in my mouth. 

unfortunately. - I said with a long sigh. she become silent after that. 

I took shower again as I was sweating and started getting ready for school. 

I hope everything just goes well in the school.
