Episode - 9

Mate is talking to us, don't ignore him. - Ash said in my mind with a pleading voice. 

who you love more, Me or him? - I asked back.

of course, our mate. I love him more. - I immediately blocked her and pushed her to the darkest corner of my mind.

hey, why are you ignoring me? - he asked again nudging me with his elbow but I pretended like I don't care. 

do you have any problem, Mr. von stein? - Mr. Patrick asked raising his brow with his eyes boring holes into Darrick's skull.     

umm.... no sir. I don't have any problem. - he said scratching the back of his neck in nervousness. 

Then, why are you disturbing the whole class? - he asked crossing his arms and looking directly towards Darrick. 

umm.... actually, I... umm... her.... - he started but couldn't say anything. 

sit down. you can talk to her outside the class. I don't want any disturbance in my class. - Mr. Patrick said and he sat down silently. 

after that, he didn't talk to me. I was relieved. it's the only lecture in which we are together. I am not going to see his face the whole day. so, it will be easy to ignore him. 

after the bell rang, I quickly made my way out after collecting all my books. 

hey, why are you ignoring me? - he asked me coming towards me. 

now what? but I didn't answer him and walked towards my next class. 

I asked you something? - he said holding my arm tightly and pushing me towards him. 

Ash started jumping in my head in excitement. she started fighting for the control as my eyes started changing color from ocean blue to silver and then, again ocean blue. 

your eyes? - he said more like sked with his eyes wide and jaw dropped. 

Darrick. - Ash called him in her magical voice placing her hand on his chest. 

he closed his eyes and inhaled a sharp breath. when he opened his eyes, they are blood red in color. 

I fought with Ash to take over the control and since she was busy in her so called mate's thoughts. it becomes easy. I quickly pushed her in the back of my head and ran away from there as fast as I could. 

I have to do something about this stupid wolf.  

after that day, in cafeteria -

I sat on my usual table with my g**g and opposite to our table, was Darrick's. I tried not to look at him when I can clearly feel his gaze on me. I keep playing with my food. 

why is he doing this? Is it because that he still want my blood? what's wrong with him? why is he pretending like we're long lost friends? - These questions keep swirling in my mind but I couldn't get answer of any of these. 

I sighed and started stuffing my mouth with the food. 

no matter how hard he tried, I am not gonna let him hurt Ash and me. not this time, Mr. Darrick. 

Hi Liliana. - I looked up to see Darrick standing there near my table.

I looked towards Karl and Mark and they had a deadly look on their faces. I gulped hard. 

what are you doing here, you bloodsucker? - Asked Karl whispering so that humans can't hear.

I just came here to talk to lily. - he said with a smile placing a hand on his shoulder.

don't you dare to call her with nicknames. - he said holding his collar tightly.

oh, I am scared. - he said with sarcasm putting his hand on his heart. 

you.... - Karl raised his hand to punch Darrick but before he could do anything, a boy came and a hard punch landed on the Karl's jaw making him spit his blood. 

Talon. - Darrick shouted at him and then, Mark punched Talon and then, he punched him harder and harder. 

and a fight between Werewolves and vampires started in a human school. even Ava and Sarah too jumped in it. they started fighting with that vampire girl, named, Ambrosia. 

so, Mark is punching Talon and Karl is fighting with Athan who is Ambrosia's boyfriend and Sarah is pulling Ambrosia's hairs and Ava, well Ava is kicking Darrick. she kicked Darrick just where the sun doesn't shine and he fell on the floor yelping in pain. 

but this is not a good place to fight. I tried to stop them but it seems like no one wants to listen to me. I gave control to Ash and my eyes immediately changed into silver ones. 

stop it right now. - Ash shouted with so much dominance and power in her voice. everyone stopped immediately. I can feel them shivering under the power I am radiating. some of the humans fell on their knees. even vampires too seems weak in front of the Ash's dominance. everyone is looking at me, no actually staring at me.

I took control back pushing Ash so that she won't create any drama. 

I think, we're here to eat. so, let's eat. why create an unnecessary drama? - I asked and sat on my seat. they looked at me like two horns are grown in my head.

what? do you want an invitation? - I asked raising my voice a bit. 

they sat down in their respective seats and Vampires too left from there except Darrick. 

Lily....  - Darrick started but I gave him a death glare and he quietly returned to his desk without saying anything.

after a while, I spoke - 

I don't want you to tell anyone at home about what happened today.  - I said more like ordered them looking at their faces. 

but Lily, they needed to teach a lesson. why are you.... - Karl started but I cut him off in the middle. 

please Karl. you know, Dad is already tensed about what happened a few days ago. I don't want any problem in my home, at least not for now. I can handle this matter by myself. so, just don't worry. - I said assuring him. 

but Lily.... - Mark started but I wasn't in mood to listen to his rubbish, so I cut him off. 

I said I can handle it. so, no need to discussion and yeah, one more thing, if this matter disclose to our family. then, it won't be good for all of you. - Ash said just merely above a whisper so that humans can't hear. I see everyone nodding their head in approval.

I took control again and sighed in relief. so much happened today. 

 I just came out of the cafeteria and the rest of the day went in blur. I came out of the school to the car and was about to sit until I heard him.

where do you think, you're going? - I heard Darrick asking from behind.

I turned around to face him but Karl and Mark came in front of me as if saving me from him. 

I smiled at their concern towards me. 

you go and sit in the car. - Mark said looking at me. I nodded my head and turned around to sit inside.

did you forget that you have to work in library after school? - I heard Darrick speaking loudly.

right, how can I forget the punishment that old bald principal gave me? 

you guys can go. I will come soon after helping the librarian. 

but why? - Karl asked me directly looking into my eyes. 

actually, I got it as punishment by principal.  - I replied looking at my shoes. 

hmm... Mark, you drop Sarah and Ava at the house. I will be there with her. - Karl said more like ordered Mark.

listen bro, you don't have to do this. just come to pick me up when school was over.  - I said trying to make him understand.

leaving you alone, with this monster? not gonna happen? - Karl said with anger visible in his voice. 

it will take hours, Karl. please go home. I am strong enough to save myself. please go. - I said more like pleading to him. 

okay, fine. just call me if you need something.  I will come back to pick you up. okay. - he said cupping my face with both of his hands. 

I am your elder sister, not the little one. -  I said with a little laugh trying to cheer him up.

hmm... just take care of yourself okay. - he said and kissed my forehead.

hey, I am not going to fight some war, it's just school. - I said with a smile. 

I know but I don't trust these bloodsuckers and I don't want to see in that condition again. - he said and walked towards the car. after they sat comfortably, I waved a bye to them and the car sped away.

can we go, now? - Darrick asked looking at me. 

I glared at him and walked past him without saying anything. I greeted the librarian. Damn, I forget her name again. 

well, she told me that what works we, means Darrick and I, have to do. so,  I started working, mainly arranging the books in the shelves. wow, they brought new shelves. not bad. 

Darrick was working in the other corner of the library and I am really glad with that arrangement of Miss librarian. well, she just don't want more damage to her library. 

Are you okay, now? - I jumped hearing his voice suddenly.

oh, Did I scare you? I am really sorry. - he said with concern filled his voice. 

Is he concerned about me? - I quickly shook the thought away.

you didn't answer me? - I can see he was desperate to talk to me. 

but the question is why. We're not friends or something like that. he just want my blood, right? so, is this all for blood? 

god, he's making me confused. 

Why are you ignoring me? - he asked grabbing my arm and turning me around to face himself. 

his grip was too tight on me, it might break my bone. Damn this vampire strength. 

I looked at him and smiled wickedly as I kneed him in his groin region and he fell on the floor crying in pain but with in a blink of second, he got up and pushed me gripping my throat in the bookshelf. I punched him in jaw and what he did next made me speechless. he made me fall on the floor and within a second. l he was above me. his breath were fanning my face and then, he kissed my cheek slightly biting it.

I am sorry for what I did, that day. I didn't mean too. the scent of your blood makes me go crazy, waking up the beast inside me. I am sorry that I couldn't control myself. you are just damn amazing. - he said whispering in my ear slightly biting my ear lobe. 

I don't know what's happening with me. it feels like I am under some spell. he's creating a havoc inside me. I can't think straight. all my determination to ignore him just flew through the window. My body is so damn responsive to his touch. I want him to touch me more. 

he started kissing my neck slightly biting it and a soft moan escaped from my lips. I can feel him smiling against my skin. Damn, I can't give in. I can't give him the satisfaction to tease me, to have control over me but what to do, my body isn't listening to my mind. I can feel his cold lips on the warm skin of my neck. he's making me weak. my mind is telling me to push him away but my wants him to touch me more. 

what the hell is happening here? - I heard Miss librarian shouting suddenly. 

now what? I am in complete mess.
