Episode - 7

I ran towards the palace and saw the dead body of guards who were at the patrolling at the night, lying on the floor. what the hell is happening? I am really tired with all the running and fighting and I am hurt too. I quickly made my way to palace.
I was at the entrance when I saw my dad shifting and within a minute he was in front of me in his grey colored wolf. I sighed in relief. he quickly came running towards me. behind him is Mark's dad Erick's wolf.
I bowed down my head in respect and sat there. my dad came near me towering over my head. he keeps his paw at my head and then sniffed my neck and furs. may be getting the smell of those rogues who attacked me today. I can see his eyes getting silver with the specks of gold in them. I can see that he's angry as he let out a huge growl.
call the pack doctors immediately. - he shouted in the mind link to no one in particular.
let's go inside. - he said to me through mind link. I nodded my head in response and started walking towards my house. My dad was walking beside me and I really don't want to fall in front of him but I was tired and this palace is huge. I have to walk a lot to reach inside my room and I really don't know if I could make it but I took some slow steps.
Are you tired? - my dad asked me through mind link. I just nodded my head in response.
Okay. go and bring her clothes. - my dad ordered Erick through the mind link.
he ran into the house and with in a few minutes, he came with a baggy shirt and some pants. I went towards a tree and shifted giving the control back to Liliana.
Liliana's POV -
As soon as I took control back, I feel pain in my whole body. my neck is bleeding and my right leg is hurt badly. I look like that I didn't take shower since ages. I felt myself so weak. Ash is tired too. I can feel it. I somehow slipped the clothes over my body and walked out to see dad and Erick waiting for me.
as soon as dad looked at me, his expression changed to a pained one. he looks in pain. I can see a tear slipped down his right eye. It hurts to see him like this. I took a step ahead and fall down immediately breaking my perfect nose in the process.
dad came running towards me to check if I was okay. I looked at him with a little smile but soon I felt something wet on my lips. I touched there and saw it was blood. hell, my nose is bleeding.
dad looked at me with hurt and guilt in his eyes. I ran my fingers through his soft furs and he closed his eyes. then, he bent down near me indicating me to sit on his soft fury body.
I stood up on my feet and then, jumped on my dad's back holding his soft grey furs in my little fist. then, he ran inside the palace with me on his back.
when he stopped in the middle of the living room, I almost fall down in the front.
Oh my god! lily. what happened to you? - my mom came running towards me as fast as she can and with in a minute, I was in her arms safe and secured from all the world.
she looked at my face removing my hairs to side. I tried to smile at her but failed miserably.
call the doctors. just call the damn doctors, right now. - she shouted in her high pitched voice shaking the whole palace. I can see the tears running down her face. I wiped them away with my hands and finally closed eyes nuzzling more into her neck. what happened after that, I just don't know.
when I opened my eyes, I found myself in my room with all the sheets covering me. I can see the sun rays spreading in my room.
hmmm..... is it morning already?
I looked at the digital clock which was kept on my bedside table and saw it's 12.45 P.M. already.
it's already afternoon.
I tried to get up from the bed but I felt pain in my leg suddenly. so, I lay down again covering myself with the sheets and closed my eyes.
Ash. Ash. - I called her in my mind but she didn't answer.
may be she's a little tired. after all the fighting yesterday, she needs some rest.
I sighed and turned to the other side as the last night's memories came flooding to my mind.
hey princess. - I turned around listening to my mom's voice.
I smiled a little at her. she came forward to me and pecked my forehead.
I got up and sat on the bed.
how are you feeling now? - she asked sitting near me on the bed and caressing my hairs.
hmmm..... much better. - I replied leaning more into her touch.
that's a good thing, I guess. - she said with a small smile but I can see the sadness in her eyes.
I thought that you must be hungry. so, here. i myself made this vegetable soup for you. - she said with a large bowl in his hands.
I smiled at her efforts. she hardly cooks. it's not because she's a bad cook or she don't want to cook but being a queen of this huge werewolf kingdom, she have other responsibilities too.
Thank you so much, mom. - I said and forwarded my hands to take the bowl but she swatted my hand away and glared at me.
let mommy feed you, you little girl. - I grinned at her and opened my mouth as she pushed a spoon full of soup in my mouth. I closed my eyes feeling contented.
hmmm.... my mom made the world's best soup. - I complimented her with a smile.
stop buttering me. - she said it with a little laugh.
hmm. so? - I asked eating another spoon full.
so what? - she asked me raising her brows.
why are you so tensed? is everything alright? - I asked looking directly into her eyes.
it's nothing, dear. you just take rest. I am always there for you. okay? - she said patting my cheek.
she isn't going to tell me something. so, I have to ask someone else.
I sighed and started having my soup with my mom's hands.
here. now sleep. - she said covering me with sheets.
do you want me to stay? - she asked caressing my hairs.
yes please if you are free. - I replied almost immediately.
she sat beside me and I put my head in her lap. she started caressing my hairs slowly.
I am sorry if you felt alone but there are so many duties I have to fulfill, as a queen of this kingdom. - she slowly whispered with a hint of guilt in her voice.
it's alright, Mom. I understand. - I whispered snuggling more into her stomach.
you know what, when I knew that I am pregnant with you. I was very scared at that time. although I loved you with all my heart and I was happy that I am going to be a mother soon but I was scared that what if I won't turn out to be a good mother, what if I fail and there are so many what ifs. - she said and I looked at her face. she has that proud smile on her face.
but when you born, when I took you into my arms, it was the most memorable moment for me because I knew it that I am a mother to a most beautiful and intelligent daughter. I love you with all my heart. - I felt her stop in the middle and then, I felt something wet on my cheek.
I looked at my mom's face to see her crying. I got up from her lap and wiped her tears away kissing both of her cheeks. in return, she gave me a sweet smile.
I love you. - she whispered against my skin while kissing my forehead.
I love you too. - I found Ash saying so.
so, finally she took control.
Ash. - my mom whispered looking into my silver eyes and Ash again put her head in mom's lap.
Ash's POV -
After listening to the conversation between lily and Mom, I became very emotional. she was right. Lily is indeed the best daughter. I smiled at the things mom was telling. so, I took the control pushing Lily back in the mind and my eyes turned to the silver color from the oceans blue ones.
I put my head in mom's lap nuzzling into her stomach. that's what I wanted, right now.
Ash - she called my name caressing my cheeks.
I just hummed in response.
you will make a good queen. - she whispered caressing my hairs.
not better than you, Mom. - I said in my deep sharp voice.
always remember one thing Ash that kingdom comes first. - she said to me.
when I didn't say anything, she continued further.
when you will become queen, you have to protect the whole kingdom. it will be your responsibility to take care of all the werewolves. if you want rose then, you have to bear the pain that its thorns give you. - she said still massaging my head.
I understood mom. I will try my best. I will become strong enough to save the whole werewolf kingdom. - I said looking at her eyes.
I know, you will make me proud of yourself. - she said patting my head with a beautiful mile on her lips.
I too smiled and closed my eyes feeling sleepy. mom continue to massage my head until I fell asleep.
Darrick's POV -
I can't believe it. was I too obvious?
if you licked her blood like a bloodthirsty vampire. then, who will not think like that? - said my subconscious.
right, I was so stupid but I couldn't control myself just looking at her blood flowing out of her thigh. my tongue itched to taste it.
god! I am so screwed up. all my efforts to win her trust, to get closer to her, just went in the vain. why I have to be so stupid? couldn't I control myself a bit longer?
damn it. now, it's all finished. I don't think that she will even see my face after today's incident.
uggh..... I want to hit my head somewhere.
I have to make a new plan to gain her trust again. - thinking so, I turned my car to my house where we are living right now.
one thing was crystal clear in my head that in the morning, I have to ask for her forgiveness no matter what.
In the night -
I went in the forest with my family for hunting and quenching my blood thirst. we all ran in different directions to find some food or some tasty blood.
suddenly I heard someone saying -
that was close, we were almost killed. - a man said.
I sniffed the air and found they are werewolves and they are nearby. I focused on the sounds while running towards the source of voice.
yeah, that was a white wolf..... - I cut him in the middle by biting into his neck and sucking his blood.
hmm... that was good - I was about to leave from there but the other three wolves surrounded me.
god! I hate killing peoples without any reason.
they jumped on me and I snapped their neck with in a second and sucked their blood.
that was amazing.
I threw a last glance at the dead bodies of werewolves and ran out of the forest in my vampire speed.
