Episode - 5

What the hell is this? - I looked up to see a lady shouting in a high pitch voice looking at the mess we just created. it looks like she's librarian here. she seems to be in her mid 40s with thick glasses on her nose. 

I looked at her eyes which is sending draggers to me and the bloodsucker. I gulped nervously. it seems like someone is going to die today. I can even see the smoke coming out of her ears and nose. she's looking like a raged bull.

she came towards us with slow steps. 

please god! save me this time. I swear I will be a good girl from now on. 

I looked at bloodsucker and found him looking at me only. then, we did the most obvious thing we could do at that time. 

Darrick held my hand and ran away from there with me. he was running very fast but not in his vampire speed. 

my human body can't run very fast. so, it was like bloodsucker was dragging me along in a fast speed. 

stop right there. I said stop you two. - I heard miss librarian shouting behind us. Damn I don't even know her name. see, that's what happen when you don't visit library in your school.

I am panting hard. it was hard for me to breath. 

God! I so wanted to change in my werewolf form but I can't. 

Oxygen. I need oxygen. I swear I will plant a tree at home if I saved myself today from this librarian's hands. 

hey, what are you looking at? chase them. - Miss librarian shouted on all the children. 

will you run faster? where is your energy? - bloodsucker shouted in my ear making me go deaf. 

I looked back one last time and I swear, My breath just stopped and it feels like I am going to faint. 

the whole school along with miss librarian is running behind us.

who I am? Osama bin laden? 

soon enough we reached the main entrance gate of the school. that was quite big and made up of Iron. I looked at the gate and it was locked.

what to do now? we can't break it in front of all these people. 

what are you waiting for? come, we have to climb and then jump. - He said like it was as easy as to boil water. 

even boiling the water is very difficult for you. - Ash commented. 

such a b***h she is. here I am going to die and there she is, commenting on my culinary skills. 

don't forget we're the same person. - she commented again.

do you want an invitation? - that bloodsucker asked with a sarcastic smile.

he just climbed up within a second like he was a monkey in his previous birth and then, jumped on the other side. 

come on, now. - he shouted at me looking behind me. 

catch them fast. - I heard Miss librarian shouting.

shit! now I don't have any other option. I have to climb up. 

I started climbing up on this huge gate. thank god! I wore sneakers today. 

I was about to reach at the top but just then, the guard reached and started shaking the door.

hey, what are you doing? I will fall. - I shouted at them. 

guess what, that's what they wanted. they want you to fall. - Ash commented. 

please someone make this stupid wolf shut up otherwise I will kill her with my bare hands. 

hey, come on, fast jump. - Darrick shouted at the top of his lungs. 

this bloodsucker monster. I am in this situation because of him only and Instead of helping me, he's shouting at me like a mad person. 

jump, you stupid. - Darrick shouted again and I just jumped getting a cut on my thigh.

come now. - that monster said holding my hand and we started running again or should I say dragging me along. people were still chasing us. 

suddenly he stopped in the middle of the way and take a deep breath. 

blood. hmm.... - he whispered but I heard it. 

you're bleeding. - he stated rather than asking me. 

of course, I am bleeding and all that is because of you, you monster. - I wanted to say that in his face but kept quiet.

shit. you got a major cut. - he said bending down and looking at the cut in my thigh. 

he touched it and blood started oozing more out of it. 

he closed his eyes and when he opened them. they were blood red in color. 

I can even see his fangs from his mouth. it seems like he's thirsty for the blood. 

goodness! he looks scary. - I gulped hard at the mere thought. 

he looked at his hands which has my blood on it and then, he smelled it bringing it towards his nose and then, took a deep breath. 

and then, he did the most dreading thing that shakes me to the core. 

he licked his fingers which has my blood. I can see the thirst for my blood in his eyes. he definitely wants more. 

even Ash too is shocked at the scene in front of us. 

this is our mate who is thirsty for our own blood. - I said to Ash. 

I can feel her whimpering inside my head. she's sad, hurt and what not. 

oh my god! is he insane or what? I seriously forget how to breath. 

he is really a bloodsucker. 

but before he can do anything dangerous, Miss librarian came with the army of students and caught us. 

his eyes went to become golden brown one and his fangs also disappeared. 

miss librarian took both of us to the principal office. 

what's the profit from running all way along? I got hurt in the process. 

I looked at the bloodsucker and found him still looking at the blood on my thigh. 

I can see that he's trying his best to control himself. 

well, Miss librarian took us to the principal room and now we're standing in front of the principal. 

our principal is a old man who looks like Mr. Patrick's elder brother. he's quite dangerous when you disobey his orders. I am not a very big fan of him. 

he stared at me through his thick glasses like he's going to eat me soon. 

after good 10 mins. in silence -

he finally opened his mouth and drank the water from the glass which was kept on the table. 

I am feeling like a criminal who is going to sentenced to death. 

hmmm............... so? - he asked raising his brow at miss librarian. 

so what? - she asked like a stupid. 

I really wanted to laugh but I know that I can't.

well, what they did? why was whole school running behind them? why did you bring them here? - he asked in one go so that she won't ask them again. 

actually sir, they broke half of the bookshelves in the library. - she said glaring at both of us. 

no sir. actually, those bookshelves were quite old and already worn out. so, when this bloo....... I mean, Darrick fell, they all broke. - I completed with a breath of relief. 

how did he fell? - he asked looking at me accusingly. 

like I pushed him. actually I did but I am not gonna admit it.

actually, he was having fever and his head was spinning. he felt dizziness. he couldn't even stand properly. so, he lost his balance and fell down. - I said looking at him with so much sympathy. 

hmmm........ good story. why don't you make your career as a professional writer? - he asked raising his brow. 

umm.... no. it's not a story. I am not lying, I swear. - I said a little nervously. 

if he was ill, he couldn't even stand properly. then, how the hell he ran? - he asked standing up and coming towards me. 

umm..... I.... umm... actually..... - I started biting my lower lip nervously. 

actually, she pushed me and I fell on the bookshelves and since they were old, they broke. that's it. - the bloodsucker spilled all the beans. 

I started looking here and there as I can feel miss librarian and principal's  gaze boring holes in my head but I refused to look at them. 

why did you push him? - that old principal asked suddenly after 2 mins. of silence. 

umm.... I...... - I started but don't know what to tell and how to tell them about what happened in library.

actually, it was my fault. I was pestering her. so, she pushed me away. - Darrick spoke on my behalf. 

and why did you run? - Miss librarian asked. 

because you were looking very scary. - before I could control, my tongue just slipped. I immediately regret it as I saw the look on miss librarian's face. I gulped nervously.

umm.... we are extremely sorry for that. - the bloodsucker saved me finally.

you should be. - I whispered slowly only to him and just got a glare from him. 

ok fine. since you both made mistakes. so, I will give punishment to both of you. - the old bald man who was sitting on the principal's chair declared. 

now what? 

we just stand there till what feel like hours and my leg started paining. first of all, I am hurt. second, this bald man is making me stand for hours. 

god!

after what felt like eternity, he opened his mouth finally and drank the water from the glass.

you know what I want right now? to keep a big funnel on his mouth and then, throw drums of water in his well like mouth. 

hmmm.... so, you have to help miss Maria in library after your classes till one month. that's your punishment. - he finally announced the punishment. 

so, miss librarian's name is Maria. 

oh god! I have to work with this bloodsucker and Miss Maria. ugh..... why? right now, I jut want to do one thing that is too pull out all my hairs. 

now, you all go home. - he ordered us like we're his servants. 

ugh.... How much I want to bang this bald head into the wall? 

I went towards the parking area and started searching for those stupid friends of mine ho left me all alone.

I started searching for our car but its' nowhere to seen. 

now don't tell me that they left me without even informing me. ugh.... can this day get any worse? 

I think, your friends left. - I heard Darrick's voice from behind. 

just wow. was I less bothered? so, he came to frustrate me more. 

if you want then, I can drop you. - he said opening the passenger door for me. 

okay. first, I am already hurt. second, Ash isn't even helping and last but not the least is my house is far away from here. 

I heaved a long sigh and walked towards his car. I opened the back door and about to sit inside when I heard his voice. 

I am not your servant. so, sit in the front. - he said with his voice held authority.

ok then, let me drive. you sit in back seat. - I said trying to take car keys from him. 

no. my car, my rules. - he said and shoved me inside the car hutting the door. then, he ran into his vampire speed and sat in the driving seat and before I could say a word. he already started driving. 

my gaze was fixed on him and his on the road. after a while, I found out that he wasn't breathing at all. he was looking like a statue. 

I looked at my thigh and found it already started healing. now, it looks like a minor cut and no blood is oozing out of it. I covered it with my handkerchief tying it safely around my thigh.

I just want to reach home soon. 

i am really tired of all the drama that happened in the school today
