It really was a very nice evening. Yet when I had suggested that we share something deeply, I had done it a little half-jokingly. But when Wylder had told me I needed to go first, I surprised myself with how good it felt to share everything with him.
But I was starting to change. Who would have thought that two hot-headed alphas would be the ones to do it, though? Mortal enemies fighting over me but also making me open up.
It was weird to think about, and I smiled a little as I lay in Wylder’s arms. He was stroking his fingers up and down my stomach and sometimes leaving small kisses on my head as we just lay there. I had never felt warmer, despite not wearing much.
“So, when does training begin?” I suddenly asked.
“Training?” he echoed.
“To be your Luna.”
