Meanwhile Miss Sophie got to know about her daughter being kidn*pped. She and Willem, who was Kate's husband, complained the higher authorities about him. Miss Sophie also exposed about the mental condition of Casper to them.

Authorities had been searching for them for days. And ultimately found them and took Casper away to a mental asylum.

It was a great tragedy for both of them. Casper tried every possible way to escape but in vain. While they were taking him away, Kate said," we will meet soon Casper."

And broke into tears.

During his early days at asylum, Casper used to deny to eat or even drink water or follow any of their commands. But he was mentally stable and mindful enough by this time that with the time being passed he realized how to tackle the circumstances. He found himself much better than the other patients around him. He used to console other patients there and used to tell them about Kate, about her beauty and love. The only disturbing thing was the distance from her love. Kate on the other hand had struggled to get separate from her husband.

Now Casper had had his treatment completed. And it had been seven months, he was almost cured. And hoped that they would let him out of here but every time he used to ask, he would get scolded and not answered. He was cured but still tagged schizophrenic.

It was all happening on the commands of his business rival who was in power by that time. Now Casper realized there's something wrong, he would have to do something himself. He told Kate about it by writing a letter to her and they started to make escape plans by writing letters to each other.

It had been two years, they were making plans but Casper always ended up with failed attempts.

Both of them were just passing days waiting to see each other. Kate was the one who used to strengthen him, she wasn't letting his hope die asking him to trust her.

Unfortunately, one day the letter with escape plans on it got caught by one of the care taker who took it to the officer. And then strict actions were taken against Casper. He was sent to the more well guarded psych ward and was threatened to be given shock treatments. He wasn't allowed to write letters anymore.

He was devastated by that time and was convinced that he wasn't going to see Kate again. And he would die in this ward. He thought to himself, "What's the use of breathing in this dark ward alone when I can't see or meet Kate again?" But then instantly he remembered what Kate said in her last letter. She asked him to trust her. So, he had to trust her, and her trust kept him alive there.

On the other hand when Kate didn't receive the reply of her last letter, she got too much anxious and again wrote a letter but no reply came.

Since Casper was a well named billionaire, every news about him used to spread among people. Kate got to know about him by hearing from people and media. It distressed her too much, she couldn't imagine her life without him.
