TRYST IN MOONLIGHT

Casper reached his house quite relaxed this time. He had already gotten emails from Kate to which he replied with passion.

Now most of the times he would be either busy in sending and receiving emails from her, keeping himself isolated from rest of the world or he would be spending time with her here in Amsterdam. She often used to come to his royal house. And even used to visit his room. Casper was more happy than ever that he found the love of his life.

They made a lot of romantic memories in the plethora of flower environment of Amsterdam. They used to spend their evenings walking along the quaint canals of the city. The city is well known for its beauty and if someone gets to make memories here with his lover, it's no less than heaven.

Though Casper was calmer now, but he was so much indulged in his romantic life that he had totally isolated himself from rest of the world and if anyone except Kate talked to him, he used to get more agitated than ever. Observing the prominent changes in his behaviour, Miss Sophie dared to come near him and asked,

" May I have a little of your time? I want to talk if you are easy. "

Casper implied a positive gesture and asked her to sit. Miss Sophie asked him about this prominent change in behaviour. She asked if something is going on in his life.

Now, Casper stretched a smile and said 'Yes'.

He told her that he had found the love of his life and he is too happy with her. He asked her, " She often comes to my house, my bedroom. Haven't you ever seen her? "

Miss Sophie replied, " That's too strange to hear but I've never seen anyone here."

"It is strange indeed", Casper replied.

Miss Sophie was curious about the girl. She asked him to tell her, " Who is she? Where does she belong? How does she look? " she was asking all questions at a single time.

Casper asked to relax herself and told her the name, how did she look, where did she belong and what she used to do for living.

This information about the girl set creases on Miss Sophie's forehead and she gave an apprehensive countenance as if she was alarmed. She showed Casper a picture of a girl and asked him if she's the same girl.

Casper was amazed to see Kate's picture with her. And asked her that, " Yes, She's Kate. But how do you have her picture? do you know her?"

On hearing this, Miss Sophie was set on fire, she was too much infuriated, her forehead creased deeper and her eye brows raised further. Casper hadn't seen her like this before, he was also alarmed that what was wrong. He started having palpitations.

Miss Sophie shouted at him in rage that, "Kate is my daughter and for your kind information, she is already married and living a happy married life. She never came to Amsterdam neither did she enter this house ever. She has nothing to do with you.

You may have met her somewhere for once and then you started assuming everything on your own. You have been having hallucinations all this time. It's all the mess of your wrecked mind. You have gone completely insane. Don't you dare to say her name again. Let her stay away from all this. She doesn't even know you."

Casper got stuck for a moment, his mind wasn't ready to process what Miss Sophie just said. He started shouting, " No you're lying. Kate is mine. She is my love. She loves me back. I will make her admit it infront of you. It can't be unreal."

"Noo Miss Sophie take your words back, tell me you're lying", he further added and started crying bitterly.

Casper couldn't figure out what was real and what was not, whether it was all true or was Miss Sophie right??

He was devastated, his world fell apart, he started throwing things on the floor in living room and started growling like an injured lion. Miss Sophie and the other servants went away for their own safety. Casper was getting out of control. He wasn't ready to accept it all. He shouted, " Kate is mine and will be mine till my last breath." And headed towards the main door slamming it with full force, took his car and drove it at a dangerously high speed. He went to Miss Sophie's hometown and visited her home, where he found a girl reading a book and luckily she was Kate.

Kate was amazed at this unexpected encounter. He wasn't ready to hear anything which could prove Miss Sophie right. So, he just asked Kate to get up and get into the car, to which Kate denied, as she was naive of everything. Now, Casper had gotten totally out of control, his face was red due to rage and tears were racing through his eyes.

He picked out a pistol and held it with hands having tremors. He threatened her by his shivering voice, " Come with me, otherwise I am going to kill you first because if you can't be mine, you can't be anyone else's. No one can touch you except me.

And after killing you, I will kill myself because I have no point to live if you are not in my life. "

Kate was scared as hell. She couldn't think much, but she knew it was a better option to go with Casper instead of being killed.

Seeing his condition getting out of control, Kate considered it wise to go with him and act as a lover to calm him down.

Scared of the way he was driving, Kate was sure that they would meet an accident. She kept her eyes closed throughout the way and kept praying to God and started asking for forgiveness for her sins as she was almost convinced that it was going be her last night of life.

They reached a house at a desolate place among trees. There were a few lights and it was dark and horrible. Though Kate thanked God for she was still alive. Kate kept asking him what was going on.

"Atleast I have the right to know why are you doing this to me? What wrong have I done? I will do as you would say but can you please talk calmly to me? " Kate said while crying.

Casper was still traumatized to talk to her and tell her everything. He took her inside and fastened her tightly with a chair, she started to cry bitterly. Casper asked her to not cry and stay silent, otherwise he would have to tape her mouth.

She was shivering with fear and tried to calm herself and talk to Casper.

Casper said, " I'll tell you everything but first you'll have to make a promise. Will you? "

She had no other choice than saying yes.

He took that pistol out again and told her, " My words are still the same. If you ever thought of leaving me I will do what I said earlier, I will kill both of us."

And started crying sitting on the floor near her chair, putting his head in her lap, while Kate's legs were still trembling.

Casper asked her, "Please calm down love, I want you to feel comfortable around me. I won't let any harm come near you. I would do anything, cross any line to make you happy. I only demand your love in return. Tell me you will give me that love. I want my Kate with me." and started crying again.

Kate felt a soft corner for him somewhere in her heart. Furthermore, it was the need of hour to act as her lover and do as he was saying.

Kate moved her fingers in his hair to calm him down. She said, " I will give you all the love you deserve, I will always stay with you but please tell me everything now."

Now Casper was a bit relaxed and told her everything. And said while crying badly, "They say I don't deserve to be loved and you never loved me. I don't care if it were hallucinations, I still have you with me. I don't care if you are really married , I will kill that bastard. You'll have to leave him. My world fell apart Kate when Miss Sophie said this all. "

Now Kate realized he was the mentally disturbed billionaire in whose house her mother used to work. She asked if her mother was fine, to which Casper replied holding her hands and trying to comfort her, "she is alright, everything will be perfect and according to you will. You just have to stay with me till my last breath. "

Kate was amazed by seeing his obsession for her. She was actually thrilled by his passion for love. She thought to herself, "I have never seen such love and passion before in my life. Infact, I was never actually loved. This all is seeming so unreal. If it's all real then how lucky am I. He can cross anyline to get me."

Casper got up and gave her water. And again put his head in her lap. They both had gotten calm.

The next morning Casper got some food for her and fed her himself. Though Kate was faking her love apparently but she knew that she was never going to find this irreplaceable love again. She knew how lucky she was to have his love. she had fallen for him in real.

Kate asked him to untie her. Casper stood still for a moment and looked at her. Kate assured her by saying, "why would I try to leave such a loving and handsome man? "

Casper smiled and came nearer to her a few inches away from her. Kate's heart started racing, he kissed on her lips softly and moved back and said, " I trust my love more than my ownself." and untied her.

They both used to comfort each other and used to keep talking all day long.

Kate used to cook for them while he used to help her and keep talking to her while she would be cooking.

Casper asked her, what did she like the most.

She replied," Moonlight "

Since that day, they used to do dinner outside their house in moon light with a few candles on their table. They had decorated their house, they used to watch movies together, they were living a perfect romantic life far from the cruel world. Kate had decided that she would get separate from her husband and spend the rest of her life with her love.Kate's true love had already cured Casper to much extent. His signs of the disease were all faded. He started to stay more composed and mindful than ever.
