TRYST IN MOONLIGHT

On reaching Amsterdam back, Casper struggled to focus on things as the only thing on his mind was Kate. He used to put that hairpin out at night and used to cry while praying to God to make him meet her.

Since when he got back from there, he used to get more agitated and used to isolate himself for longer time. Miss Sophie informed about his condition to his doctor, who started to visit more often at home.

The visit of Doctor used to agitate him too much and the sedatives injected by him calmed him down.

But no one could figure out that the cause of his restlessness and agitation could be a girl.

While Kate on the other hand was also restless and used to miss him while talking to the same stars at night which witnessed everything that night. But she considered it a beautiful dream and will of God.

But Casper's restlessness was increasing day by day and finally he decided that he will have her. No matter what lines he had to cross and thought to himself, "What's the point of all my power and wealth if I can't have her?"

He told Miss Sophie that he was going on a business trip to Auckland and set off.

He kept missing her all the way and got off at the station where she did last time.

He tried every possible way to find her, he himself wandered every where but still couldn't find her. It had been a month, he was devastated and convinced that he had all the pleasure of his life that night and that was for only once. He didn't want to go back without her. Also he didn't want to live that miserable life again in Amsterdam. He was completely blank standing at the railway station not knowing what would be his next action.

And luckily, he got a sight of a girl who looked exactly like Kate from distance. A girl wearing high heels and long pleated skirt with tight blouse. Her lean body and golden hair were assuring factors that it would be Kate.

He had a dopamine rush as he followed her till her seat and to his excitement, It was Kate, she also looked at him with extreme joy. Casper was intensely happy as he had a euphoric victory. He felt a sense of gratification and thanked God. And had a seat opposite to her.

It was again the night of full moon, the same as last time when they travelled together. They again met in a night under fullmoon when the world goes to sleep, and they got indulged in a little world of their own in moon light.

He opened up his wallet to give Kate her hairpin back and told her how carefully had he kept it.

She was astonished and asked, why did you keep it with yourself? Did you know you'll meet me?

She was being curious and excited as she already had the idea about the answer but wanted to hear from him.

He said, "I had been praying to God to make me meet you and see, he answered my prayers."

"And why did you want to meet me?", Kate said. She couldn't wait to hear the answer.

Now Casper hesitated for a while but then thought, " Can I Iive without her? No!

So I just need to tell her, she is mine, I don't care for anything."

Everyone around had gone to sleep, Casper got nearer to Kate and knelt down. Holding her delicate hands he said, "Kate, for the first time in life, I have felt this beautiful feeling and I am convinced that life really is beautiful. I feel like I'm in heaven when I'm around you. I've fallen for you Kate."

" But let me tell you one thing, you are already mine. I will not let you go anywhere ever. I can do anything to bring smile on your face. I am just waiting to hear 'Yes' from you."

Tears brimmed in Kate's eyes after hearing all this. And she said, 'Yes' while caressing Casper's cheek with her hand.

They both were euphoric, holding each other's hands with firm grip.

Casper grew more closer and grabbed her waist and pulled it against his chest, she started breathing heavily while she moved his hand in Casper's hair and held his face with her other hand, and they both sucked each other's souls out of their lips.

Before the night had faded, Kate insisted to leave at a station , though Casper wasn't ready to let her go but she insisted too much that she had some urgent work which was needed to get done and promised that she will come to Amsterdam soon. Casper asked for her contact number and she gave her email address in return.

After she was gone, Casper found that hairpin on her seat. He picked it up and kept it again in his wallet thinking that it will remind him of their first meeting .
